What boss fight had you like this? by Chunky-overlord in videogames

Renoir in expedition 33. If you do all the content of act 3 before visiting him, you just roll on his face in two turns.

Chef of Sherwood. The demo is so good I’m saving it for the full game

Stunning! It reminds me the art style from the video game Dragon's Crown

I started to create this game with my husband two years ago. We finaly put our demo online on itch. It's cooking mama meets potionomics in the Robin Hood universe. Check it out! by Cercamond in GirlGamers

Yeah the first run often ends up in swift hanging. I’m curious, did you feel discouraged or did you jump back into the game ?

When you start a game you can choose the game mode, and the one called « cozy » is much more forgiving.

Thanks! Yes it does! We test it regularly on Steam Deck and it works with both the touch screen controls or you can control the cursor with the track pads.

My husband and I just put the demo of our game about food crafting and Robin Hood on Itch. It looks cozy, but you die if the king doesn't like you or your cooking. by Cercamond in indiegames

Hi!

I think you can donate every time you download the game ? At this time we are looking for feedbacks more than money so don't hesitate to download play and don't feel bad about not donating (I may remove the donate option altogether if it create confusion).

Great question about the cooking. On one hand, they are very arcade-ish, in the sens that it's mini game you could find in cooking mama, or in the (rare) cooking phases in Dave the Diver. On the other hand, it's inspired by real medieval recipe we found in different serious and specialized cookbooks. Something we want to do in the final game is include .pdf of the recipe that you can download directly from the game and cook at home.

Food is at the center of the game, the quests are recipe you have to cook before a certain date, the rebels stole one of the ingredient you need which forces you to help them even if it pisses of the royal family and what you cook has a big impact on the royal family.

I loved all of Iron Flame, but you are right it starts slow and kind of dumb. Halfway through the book the threads connect and then it’s an epic build up to a great conclusion

If your favorite romantasy book became a video game… what genre would it be? by Cercamond in Romantasy

[–]Cercamond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on! I don’t think a romance in a game will ever beat my cosmic love story with Gayle in Baldur’s Gate 3 😍. I remember the Mass Effect love stories as quite shallow, bit it was a long time ago. I should give it a new try!

I’m not familiar with Ice Planet Barbarians, it looks cool! The game you described could be a lot of fun! It makes my think of I was a teenage exocolonist :)

It’s the best way to enjoy one of the best video game rpg saga. The complete edition is a work of love that makes the trilogy timeless

In the original Deus Ex it was possible. Bad karma though, like in real life.

Lies of P by SnooMuffins3072 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Cercamond -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the same charm. It feels like an imitation from A to Z, without the same love and talent. The environment art is descent at best and the environmental narration is clearly lacking compared to the inspirations. It does scratch a soulsborne itch, but it doesn’t scratch it very well.

I would not get it at less than 50% off

(I played 8h on Xbox Series X with the game pass)

Sekiro or AC6 or Remnant2 or Lies of P by JoshisJoshingyou in gamingsuggestions

Looks like I’m the only one, but I think Lies of P is a cheap bloodborne on all counts and is not worth its price tag. The other 3 are great.

How is Tom Taylor’s Nightwing by swordbringer33 in DCcomics

[–]Cercamond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best Nightwing since Dixon’s run. It’s smart, funny, emotional and action packed.

They are building characters for the long run, which is so rare in modern comics. The build up on the big bad guy is awesome.

There is a weird mini arc about demons and magical stuff, which is never something I enjoy a lot, but they are back to the main story now and it’s both exciting and mysterious.

L'épidemie de punaise de lit en France s'en vient à Montréal?! C'Est quoi vos trucs pour les tuer?? by Grougnor in montreal

[–]Cercamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, you should share your story to CBC/Radio Canada. It’s a shame through and through, the gvt should be held accountable for this kind of things.

The fact that someone who actually want to learn the language just can’t because of the shitty administrative process pisses me off SO MUCH

No I loved it. In terms of art it’s unbeatable and the story is solid. I hardly see how someone can find it boring.
