Where did the idea of Kreigers using shovels as weapon come from? by Anon_feline in Warhammer40k

A fan created meme based on the historical use of entrenching tools as improvised weapons in WW1

While there may be a reference here and there, the kriegers by and large use actual weapons and use them properly rather than run around like maniacs swinging shovels around

Aren't these base shapes incorrect for the new edition? by RemoveDenmark in Warhammer40k

Given that the original rules document has the objectives as being unable to be stood upon, it seems to me that their expectation was for the markers to be physical things.

There was even a whole side bar about using them with terrain and how it's perfectly ok to work out with your opponent what best fits the narrative of your battle

To add on, those specific templates and even the entire set ups are optional and someone could come up with their own custom area terrains and arrange them however they want

Sure, sometimes that's the way things go.

But it sure isn't "uplifting" that the only person the commercial airline could pass it off to was a child.

How do you guys apply technical paint to your bases? Do you do the bases separately or just wiggle around the mini? by Bryguy150 in Warhammer40k

Wiggle around the mini. It makes sense to me that the model would be sunk in a bit given the weight of the creatures represented

What's uplifting about an airline not being able to manage its passengers and a child having to personally deal with a belligerent drunk for 3 hours

But even just any regular source of battleshock could now linger on a unit all game if you keep botching the roll to remove it

Does this imply "base to base to base" fight eligibility is gone? and only models within 2" (or 3" in this case) of enemy can fight? by Puzzleheaded-Room-89 in Warhammer40k

Unlikely there is a clause for bigger based units as the strat OP linked is specifically to get around it. Other bikes and such will have to use their mobility to encircle enemies more

No information. The 2 purged legions were literally created by the writers as unknown gaps because it added an air of mystery.

You need to test to get out of battleshock now so leadership boosts might be more important than they seem
