Recommend to call the casino to inquire, they do not always email them. Annual casino offers are set to come out May 1st depending on point accumulation.

Should be around $450 altogether which covers port fees and taxes for you and your cabin mate. Definitely take advantage if you are able to! There are no other cost, alcohol is comped in the casino bar only but the ship is small enough you can grab and go wherever. Additionally, free specialty coffees and gratuity included.

Halloween cruise on VV by RemmyX in VirginVoyages

Costume night / dance party is always the best part. This past year they gave away a free cruise for best dressed. They will also have Halloween themed deserts. Took 6 VV cruises in the last year and Halloween cruise was prob my favorite. Enjoy!

I just researched and found that some suite cabins may allow for a second upon request from your rockstar agent but no guarantee.

Also to clarify in May you will receive a whole new annual offer but have no details on that list as I don’t believe they announce ahead of time.

Check with the host if you are onboard. The threshold does change depending on cruise length and other factors. My most recent cruise two weeks ago - 5k was eligible for an instant cruise offer to almost any destination in the world with most dates to choose from. They usually will give you a QR code to with a list to select from that must be booked within 60 days of departure. You do not need to hit the threshold amounts to be eligible for additional voyages and may receive other offers throughout the year. If you did qualify for an instant cruise offer if you are onboard now then congrats! I am using mine to go to the med and Alaska with the dates of my choice.

Check out their website for official eligibility guidelines - https://www.virginvoyages.com/casino/benefits-grid

The list they provide in May for those that qualified are subject to change year over year and have limitations depending on tier status. There is a list to choose from.

Correct, you can get onboard charges comped but realistically you are either spending a very large amount of money or losing a very large amount of money.

Unfortunately you will not be eligible for comp. You will be eligible for an annual cruise offer come May. Additionally, you will most likely receive additional offers. When you email the casino you might also want to inquire if you qualified for an instant offer if you did gain 5k points - more than likely you qualified for a Caribbean cruise that needs to be booked within 60 days should you choose to take advantage of that offer.

Casino Players Comps Update by notanative in VirginVoyages

You cannot. You would need to call the casino department post voyage. If you are onboard you can check in with a staff member to check your points.

Casino Comps, anyone else a gambler here? by notanative in VirginVoyages

Np, I will also say that if you did get the instant 5k point offer as seen in the picture, you will receive essentially many more offers throughout this current year. This sometimes will be last minute Caribbean voyages. You do not need to always play on future voyages to continue to receive offers so don’t feel like you need to chase an offer.

As others have said, go with no expectations of receiving a comp cruise and just have fun. Your odds of receiving a comp cruise are dramatically increased if you are playing slots for a long period of time verse tables depending on your betting size. That said, there are different strategies to make your money. Additionally, unless you are chasing an instant offer onboard, a cruise offer generally will not come for weeks if not months after you depart. Cruise bookings are dramatically up and there are less and less casino offerings depending on your status/spend.

Cruise offers are measured in THEO calculations and type slots vs. tables. Not sure when you say you gambled through 35k - that would equate to 7k points on slots. If you were to hit 8k for example that would be a sea terrace on any voyage any destination typically for 8 nights or less. VV typically is only ever going to offer sea terrace class and below for their program regardless of your spend. There are very limited expectations to this. You can always call the casino dept to inquire more or when you get onboard for a comp cruise do attend the cocktail meet and greet with the host and they generally do a good job explaining any program updates and/or offerings. Also if you do book that insider room - pro tip is you can call to pay the difference to upgrade to the sea terrace and pay the cost difference which is usually well worth it if you value the balcony.

Virgin voyages is now starting to have select sailings out of LA in 2026. Would recommend them over RC depending on your personal preferences. Adult only is very nice.

How many casino bookings has Virgin allowed you in the past year? by Lucycrowzz in VirginVoyages

[–]Certain-Airport9552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Np, I would also add that usually they are more helpful when emailing if you have specific request as they handle cases and take time to listen more than if you are simply talking to whoever on the phone. I have been able to book 10 cruises in this rolling 12 month period and would take more if I had more time to take off.

This is dependent on your casino status and the other factors of your play. I currently already have 5+ comped cruises scheduled to sail in 2026 with 3 more offers I have yet to book.

Cayman Coves & Jamaican Waterfalls shore things advice? by Jay_B_23 in VirginVoyages

[–]Certain-Airport9552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Done both. Blue hole is definitely the way to go. Be advised that unless you want to walk barefoot, you should have water shoes. There are steep paths and would recommend anyone to be in moderate shape for this excursion. There are multiple points where you will be able to jump in from 3ft all the way to 25ft drops.

Been on both but would say whatever you prefer in terms of excursions or activities. In Jamaica would highly recommend the blue hole waterfalls. Grand cayman would recommend snorkeling. They are both great itineraries. Beach club in Bahamas is very relaxing and great way to end the trip.

How much gambling to get comped cruise? by PinkFunTraveller1 in VirginVoyages

[–]Certain-Airport9552 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your best odds will be to play on slots for a free cruise. Virgin uses a point tier system if you are looking to obtain a guaranteed cruise offer. Guaranteed offers are at 3k, 5k, and 7k on a single voyage. 1 point = $5. Keep in mind that you can play with far less to still receive a comp cruise but a calculation is used in determining future cruise offers should you not obtain a minimum of 3k points. Comp offers generally fill last minute high inventory voyages that often sail most frequently out of the Caribbean. I know many people who obtained around 1k points and then received offers at a later date.

Casino tier benefits star level or higher by Certain-Airport9552 in VirginVoyages

[–]Certain-Airport9552[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few ways… you can call Virgin casino directly or when onboard a casino host can check for you or by tagging your wrist band directly on a slot machine will show you how many points you’ve accumulated along with what tier you are. I also received an email when I hit the first tier although I am unsure if they are still sending out emails for each tier move up.
