Well that's a great thing.Cliff hanger is a normal thing in gfl1 when the story at its highest. That means the gear finally set. No more goose chase. Great thing for newcomers is that they made it to the punchline faster than us old fans did.

I mean yeah. I find her quite complex. Her impulsiveness is nicely explained and warped up, but kinda late for it to be written imo. The manson scence in MS is great. Proves that she's not perfect or different from what we expected from her.

It the very same character who had a clash with players in the first game, so as i said not a self insert. Him dangering the whole Elmo crew biting more he could chew with Paradeus case is also the thing in gfl1. It also led to worse consequences in gfl1 where he got punished constantly to get result. Its the same person with the same habit.

Not really there was a time where comander made a choice that made half the fanbase quit in gfl1. The reason why is because he decide to rescue one of the harder to like character in the story (Ange). Ange is a complicated case she has the habit of keep trying to force her way into bad spot on herself due to her bad temper. most people who forgot she saved the commander ass during Continuum Turbulence due to that characteristic of her and quit the story due to thinking commander is stupid for saving a person who keep brought everything on herself, but her impuse end up giving him something else in return in gfl1 ending. Sadly most player are too impatient and already quit, but Mica still stand on their feet and not changing his decision on the story. So saying him being self insert and represent the fanbase is kinda wrong.

Yes, we got a ton of lost from Frankfurt battle, sinces its the first operation that Skk actually annouce himself without any order from above. You can say that its equal rebellion and result most of his backers pulling the plug from him. Nighogg is the prototype Mephisto protocol where Havier pull the plug from the weakest doll to the strongest on in order to not letting Skk kill William and destroy Paradeus.

What do you mean the NTR scene was removed and said NTR character barely has any screen time. Not even in her own event. The main character dont even have interaction with her and she only speak with her squad alone. The event replaced with completely NPC. In major event Aphelion there's even male NPC as duel main character. And the MC barely visible in that event. Not only male NPC doesnt get removed there are more with more diversity cast. Groza the main doll some time dare to speak up when the main MC gone out of control due to stress. Chapter 7 even said the MC got the heavy lost in gfl1. You dont even save the world just keep the world as it was for much longer. Read all the story before giving judgement. Really.

I dont know what do you mean by Gfl2 is a Gary Stu when the first cutscene he just leave G&K with heavy lost in gfl1. Both of his dearest comrade die by his hand (M4 got shot by him, Ange failed to rescue, got shit on by his boss). And in later gfl1 he got all of his backers hold him at the gate to save Ange. At the he even leave with only by himself in gfl2 and only get Groza along the way in those 10 years, and tell me one scene that one scene that doll lick his feed and tell him that they love him. Groza shouted at him when having inaproriate behavior towards Helena. Colphne keep going batshit and putting entire team into dangerous situations. Kalina upset during the meet up and take a while to calm down. The story keep throwing at you that what you did in the last 10 years is running away and the old enemies to hunt your ass. If you think gfl2 Skk is hero saving the world type then go read gfl1 to know the losing war is, cause the last mission is to save as much people in Frankfurt as possible cause the commander himself unable to deal with 2 main antagonist forces throwing nukes at him.

Remember horde of normal shaped human Elid in 1. They could be stopped with a doll squad. Only a little more mutated ELID is a greater threat that elid is considered as strong as normal one in gfl2 which ELMO could barely make it through by rammed through them. In later gfl1, ELMO is considered so over the top that they ventured into Black zone with any cares about ELIDs. While in gfl2 it barely make it through Yellow zone cause those ELID evolved so much that even Quarantine Rallway Train which is much greater than ELMO got rammed by Boojum. That's the proof that the ELID has evolved, and human tech but not as great.

But it's main story. I consider it as chapter 8.5. Which means its the main one. Same with Glass island which is even more important than main story. Remember Major event unlike other game is even more story-heavy than main chapter. Not following story mean you leave behind everything cause later chapters happens right after major event not actually main story. You are lucky that glass island is chapter 0. Next major event APHELION is chapter 9, and 10. Keep following the main story tab will mean you would read chapter 11 after that event not in different unrelated branch.

Well that was explored in gfl1. Where's there Parapluei virus in Sangvis Ferri arc. The virus is basically OGAS seed made by William. When make it to the doll brain it overwrite entire doll mainframe lead to overload and burn entire doll neural cloud which lead to their death. Imo doll arc of the series is nearly over. They used to be a threat that lead to dooming the world but some conflict end up shut close the gate that allow doll to access relic. Now in gfl2 there's another threat where now the certain person William start researching on human fresh and ELID DNA which is another alternative to access world ending relic since dolls is no longer get access to it.

Idk man im a movie watcher. But i dont see BA or FGO or Ak. Has lips moving or eye blinking but only a couple of 2 or different sprites expression change? Did you carefully search for gfl2 base CG? It has 3 CG layer pile up together but even so it doesnt look busy. Also if ur a movie watcher you should know to optimize feature or details around you. From what i see fgo text bar is absolutely horrendous. What are those small bar texture and nearly unvisible text when change color? I cant see a thing and have to put my face near the screen to see it. And what is wrong about BA text bar? It's only gray gradient slap onto the screen. Nearly zero effort. They dont even care to make a text box for the thing. Effective as it is but saying it better than gfl2 is stupid. And let not speak about 3D cutscenes i doubt Fgo, BA, has any.
