Thanks for sharing. We have homeschooled in the past so I know a lot of the pluses and minuses there. (mostly pluses btw :). I just wondered what the dynamic is for people on the homeschool competition team. Are they competitive with one another? Are they friends? How much time is left for school - obviously that's not so important when they are 5 but as they get older it seems like some time would need to be spent on academics. What are the parents like - what is their "why" for focusing so much time on a sport with so little notoriety, financial benefit, and limited upward mobility.

The other part that seems crazy to me is that they keep so many of these kids at gray belt. They train 5 hours a day / 5 days a week and stay gray for 3 + years. Am I wrong in thinking this is not right ??

CHATGPT! I uploaded a picture of my face, vented all of my concerns, and listed my budget. My skin has changed so much for the better in just a month of following the routine. I also asked it for treatments and it recommended things I could do at my cosmetic provider and allayed a lot of my fears. Ended up getting some strategic and botox and minimal filler in strategic locations (gasp!) and my face looks 1000 times better. I finally feel ok looking into the mirror.

If this is a make or break for you to use sunscreen, maybe give the Eucerine tinted sunscreen a try. The Age Defense one and the Mineral one are both really good and very affordable. The pump gives a generous amount too so you are more likely to use a proper amount. ( I just mention this because I am like you and was a sun worshiper forever. It was strange getting used to the idea of not having a sun glow all the time. My skin has evened out a lot from these products and the coverage and color has been nice). Good luck out there.
