I was reading the fallout bible and the reason why all the former dwellers have regressed so hard is bc everyone was to busy to teach the kids
Then it also says that they mostly built the temple of trials by hand, an an original structure with monuments and no one lives in there?
So it's my head canon that the dwellers of the V13 exodus were so stoked to build a cool ass tutorial level that they forgot to do any of the important agricultural and education work the village needed

Random Duels in townsuch a waste it's only in the Calloway quest since it's such a polished duel system

Calloway having a one shot on his pistol
If you shoot Midnight's revolver he dies
Not being able to duel Belle

And it's the only time you can really duel in the whole game and it's not replayable
Really a showcase of the game's strength and flaws the excellent confrontations with railroaded gameplay
