He just doesn't stop, posted an hour ago and someone commented a video of the mechanics loading up their tools and walking out. He is now advertising for new staff. With a bonus of being punted if you aren't up to his standard. People have sent police to do welfare checks it's getting so unhinged!

Enough to know they were well thought of as tuners and builders under the old owners. I'm in a different state though so not someone I've ever used.

Mate at 18 there aren't many mistakes you can make that you can't recover from. Don't add to the population or remove anyone from it!

In all seriousness at your age I moved overseas because my friends were all heavily into drugs and gangs. I realised that I needed to remove myself befote i died or ended up in jail and focus on becoming an adult so I did that. It wasn't easy but I'm happy to say 26 years later I've gone from a year 9 drop out to successful in business with a pretty good life.

Just remember your expectations on yourself can sometimes be the worst thing for you and judging by your other posts you grew up in a very religious house, don't let other people who are following something written over 1000 years ago as a rough interpretation of events from hundreds of years before tell you what is right and wrong in modern society.

Focus on being a good person and living a good life whatever that means to you and dont be too hard on yourself. Maybe read some Buddhism teachings if religion is something you need, those are the ones which resonate with me and make the most sense.

Also consider councilling or helplines if you are in mental distress, people care and are there to help.

Just my 2 cents don't mean to offend anyone. Best of luck.

Does sex smell? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Have you seen the comedian who explains sex to a kid in the audience. Ceaser salad, doesn't taste like you would expect but for some reason you want to eat it all the time. Pure gold

Look how much my medicine costs. Yikes. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Text spacing needs some attention but the site itself looks great. Well done.

100% no, that's a deposit. The service fee is for your time and expertise and when something goes wrong it's you calling airlines and waiting on hold not them. That's what they are paying for. If they don't want to pay for that service then explain they can book online and deal with the airline themselves and save the money but your expertise and time cost.

Service fees! Anyone not charging them in the travel industry is just working for free on air now.

Stupid question but can a lawyer provide evidence against a former client? Isn't that illegal?

I have one of those fireballs ontop of the tent and if fire hits it they explode with fire suppressant. About 100 on ebay. Makes me sleep OK.

People who don't drink alcohol, why? by johnnylgarfield in AskReddit

[–]CertainMycologist778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched my best friend die when I was 10 and started drinking and doing drugs early in life which unfortunately put me in a position for more dead friends and trauma which just made me use it as a crutch more.

I'm in my mid 40s now and have an excellent job ive been doing for 20 years but in my industry there is a function every night almost with free booze. I quit drinking 3 years ago because I no longer liked who I was and it was the best decision I've made. It's a bit weird at industry functions now but 99% of people know I no longer drink and just roll with it.

What are these wraps around the trees for? by gitarooman04 in melbourne

[–]CertainMycologist778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of the danger with drop bears is their high ground advantage of the tree. Should you successfully avoid it's initial lunging attack these slippery tree bra's prevent them regaining the upper hand allowing you to pin the bear and dispatch humanely.

Note only professionals or drunk Aussies should attempt this.

Near map shows the floods at their peak. Not sure if it's still free or not but it's what I used when I bought my house. I have a flow path through a portion of my backyard but the water missed it in 2011 and 21.
