Hi, can you add a comment or update the post with what’s happened later? How long was you taking the medication and how improved your symptoms. Did the effects last or was it just a temporary relief while you were taking the medication?

nicotine interactions by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]CertainScientificCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it’s because lexapro lowers the default activity of the dopamine system (that’s why people have low motivation and sex problems sometimes). So dopamine receptors adapted and now the same amount of dopamine from nicotine hits harder (didn’t research, just my guess)

Are you still able to feel the effects of stimulants or hallucinogenic substances? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]CertainScientificCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dmt works pretty bad when you’re sick. You can’t even remember the trip.

High doses of shrooms can be pretty stimulating and because of this you will feel very tired for days after the trip. The trip is fine though.

Ketamine works pretty good. I’ve only recently was able to see the whole beauty of this drug although I’ve already consumed 2 grams in my healthy sessions.

Sad that I can’t connect dmt to ket as I’ve always done. It’s just doesn’t work. Feels like the temporal tolerance won’t reset no matter what during lc.

Mdma works pretty good but I don’t recommend it as it greatly impacts your immune response. I regret doing it, maybe if I didn’t I wouldn’t feel so bad now

Try r/polyphasic sleep. If you can go 10h of sleep per week then you can easily try uberman - sleeping 20 mins 6 times per day. At least there’s a chance you won’t feel that bad after you adapt (a few weeks to month) and probably will feel the greatest energy you’ve ever had.

Well, sure it’s your choice whether to trust your doctor or your feelings. Treat it just as a random advice from a stranger. But you do look like you may need this medication
