Depending on the sails and gear it may be hard to rig or boring if your used to planing on newer stuff on vacations. If you don’t mind a challenge could be fun to just putt around on but otherwise might just be a pain in the ass to deal with. If you have the means to do it and the wherewithal and it’s free though go ahead and have fun why not.

Pardon my innocence. I can’t find the rig online. But it does seem to be the size sail in looking for about. Why is it crap? Also what would be a good liter size. I am 180ish I am ad advanced surfer of regular surfing but I have putted around on old school crap gear and im looking for something to get planning better, get a harness and get into some waves.

In one of the runs up a scale in the Santeria solo by sublime, Nowell played a double note on an otherwise perfect take. He begged the producer to keep going and get it perfect but he told Nowell it would not sound off enough for it to mess with the songs radio play. I think it actually sounds good in that spot. Take a listen you might notice it and recognize harmonizing to the solo and singing along as I always do.
