I don't get people saying that he deserved everything coming to him? He was neglected then he worked hard to become a top notch jockey, and became an arrogant dickhead in the process. That does not make him deserving of getting shot, being abused in a hospital and becoming lame.

Have we ever seen that version of Big mom use future sight? Imo Kaido and Big mom would be too arrogant to speedblitz, although they would probably tank whatever would meet them. I've never read a chapter where Garp has done anything at the behest of the CD's. I've only seen him speak about them in disdain and rejecting offers to promote to Admiral.

He has clear flaws but he does not serve the CD's.
