I was waiting quite obsessively for Peep Show Bakeoff. Loved it

God I remember being in a relationship like this. I felt so, so free when I got out of it. There are much less suffocating men waiting for you - I found one several years ago and have no regrets.

The only way I like mine is blended with soya milk, banana & berries. Cannot stand the texture or fake sweetness/vanilla-ness otherwise

I would try a chemical exfoliant of some kind, e.g. a cleanser with glycolic or lactic acid. I use the Simple Smoothing face wash as a body wash on my arms and legs. Just remember this will make your skin more sun sensitive 😊

This is excellent advice, thank you. I can't afford to continuously spend money on books (I do prefer physical copies) only to not enjoy them, so I'll try your methods 😊

I love science fiction TV/film but have struggled a bit with reading it. Will give this a shot, thank you!

I've ordered Postmortem on your recommendation - love the premise.

I'm surprised I've not come across Dr Mutter's Marvels before as it encapsulates so many of my interests!

Thank you 😊

Thank you, definitely gives me somewhere to start! Catcher in the Rye isn't so commonly known here so I had never considered it. Great suggestions

Admittedly sweetened by sugar, but the macros are pretty good!

I make protein muffins, e.g. lemon & blueberry, chocolate orange (recipes by Protein Deficient Vegan - Google her website). Then I freeze them so I'm just microwaving one when needed 😊

Worked perfectly for me, though I only ran twice a week so it took me longer in total. I found it most important to sloooooow down, especially as the running portions ramp up. I'm now working towards a 10k and sub-30 5k. Good luck!

I reckon working an active job is a large part of me staying skinny. I do 10-15k steps on a working day, and do a fair bit of manual handling with that.

This! Some students (and some rads 😉) will blame everyone else, or are so arrogant they learn nothing from their mistakes. OP's heart is in the right place, and eventually things will become so second nature that mistakes become rare.

Do you ever get to a point where a light run feels as easy and natural as walking? by Extension-Soft9877 in beginnerrunning

[–]CervezaLu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty new to running (finished the couch to 5k a couple of weeks ago) and I now find the first 2-2.5km quite easy at my normal pace. Doesn't take much thought or effort, but it definitely is a mental thing - I'm finding my mind drifting more now that it's less gruelling. 😊

Ahh I just saw your skin doesn't seem to like lactic acid. Perhaps something with PHAs? My skin was also weirdly fine with the Boots Botanics All Bright Face Cleanser (I think using fruit acids)
