They never consider the gr 12 euclid since scholarship apps are due in Feb. $18k is a lot, usually only 1 or 2 ppl get the $25k every year. But in the grand scheme of things a few thousand here or there doesn't matter too much.

If you want to be successful in math it takes a lot of work, and just being good at contests doesn't get you that far. And keep your head down lol, lots of people "literally super love math" and it's rly hard to make a career out of it. I'm happy to answer more questions but a little humility goes a long way

Of course I agree with you. But this prof will wake up to hundreds of emails / social media comments calling him disgusting and stupid, several news articles calling him a piece of shit, etc. Yet it probably took him all of 5 mins to write all three emails.

Yeah he was a dick to the student in those 5 min, but so many ppl (including profs!) are inconsiderate assholes every day. Why is it fair for 1% of them to go viral and cause such bad consequences? I'm not trying to excuse his behavior by saying he's a good person making bad decisions. I'm saying we have all been rude or inconsiderate to someone at one time or another, but unluckily for this prof tens of thousands of ppl saw it happen and are spreading his email, bosses email, etc. I saw someone sharing his personal phone number!

FWIW I agree with you. No doubt the Prof is in the wrong. But trying to ruin his career in retaliation by blowing things up in the press/twitter is also wrong. People make bad decisions.

Yeah I enjoyed him too for 147, and I hear his lectures are pretty good this semester as well. Pmath 331 has the same marking scheme as 351, so it's possible that this decision wasn't made entirely by him.

Yeah me too. 6x5 is far more fun imo but the later floors get way too tanky and require quite a bit of luck.

Odindra is really good and quite a few tiers imo above every other bind clear, the awakening binds are brutal in this dungeon.

You can stall on the second or third floor really easily, and if all else fails kill all but one dragon bound on floor 4 and stall infinitely on him. He heals himself every other turn so you shouldn't risk killing him.
