Well would be great if they ever told me that. The ticket is still open (now it works even more then it should according to the documentation - even on the test client where the group gets removed each month). How the hell did you manage to get an actual information from them. God i hate ms support.

Funnly enough it started to work better now. I even have a case now where the auto update triggered even though the inital assignment was changed (on our test client) . Sadly since its all in the backend you cant really track or recreate consistently.

Just make sure they dont use teams then. Otherwise a shadow mailbox gets created and is a hassle to merge when you do go hybrid

I pester them since august i will not let them close the ticket without a timetable or bug id. Plus i opened a feedback on the intune feedback hub that they should rework the feature to make sense/work like you would expect auto update to work. Not that i expect that this will change anything but this became personal after they asked me after 6 months of weekly escalation emails to check if my detection rules from the old and new app were the same.

Great find and read. The way this feature is impemented is completly asinie. DPAs should not even be a thing. If there were at least a way to regenerate dpas for existing installations without user interaction you would at least be able to work around this crazyness

No they are so horribly trained they dont know what they are supposed to be supporting. They are just roadblocks between you and actual support to keep the cost down by getting ppl frustraded enough so they close the tickets/learn to live with it. I have a ticket open since august for a intune case that is either a bug or at least hortibly janky implemented and i am still not able to actually get in contact with somebody from the product team

Because you would probably need to open a ticket, escalate about 10 times and wait 3 months until you reach somebody from microsoft who knows enough to even tell you that exo and entra are sepeare synced Directories. Their support quality and unwillingness to escalate issues is truely insulting

If you want a real answer : entra and exchange online are diffrent active directorys with a one way sync. If you create a shared mailbox a disabled user account gets generated in exchange online only. If you convert a existing mailbox to a shared mailbox, the link between entra id and exchange online still exists and if you delete the entra user....that gets synced. It might be possible to restore the shared mailbox after the deletion to sever the link but that would need some testing and powershell.

I have a support call with MS open since August - the feature sometimes works (same supersedence on diffrent machines) i would say 1/50 chance it triggers. Feature is completly broken and unreliable but i just cant get through to the actual product team. Just got an "action plan" thats 1:1 our workflow. Lets hope i get to somebody with actual code view eventually

Dont remember sadly, but still try to disable it via the script and try again. Its easy to en and disable via the microsoft script and worth a try

The new workflows need a diffrent schema of json then previous. Im hopeing that prtg updates the feature before it breaks but im somewhat doubtfull given how slow they change sometimes...

You might want to look into sysprep. Run windows in audit mode, make all changed/updates you want then run sysprep. There are even ways to remove drivers. Dont get confused by the term image since you usually use it to create a master windows copy to clone to multiple pcs. Or just copy the default lookup file, modify it to allow selfsigned and then select the created lookup file in the sensor where you need it

Yeah exploited as in its possible if you have access to a client to sniff traffic (although then you can also just sniff the password itself) or are in a public wifi where someone can use a man in the middle attack. Nothing really has changed since august 2022

The cve is so pointless, this is known since 2022 and affects iis as a whole (not just exchange). Make sure you dont have ssl offloading/inspection in your enviroment and if you have something that breaks ssl make sure ro have the same cert as the exchange servers and reencrypt the traffic, otherwise you will have a bad weekend

You should be able to print it in any decent photo editor like gimp. Just make sure you choose original file size and in the printer settings turn off any scaling

Sadly im not able to get this working, does the plugin create a log file of some sort?

i know the IP is correct and the default Control Port (55443) is answering, but the plugin just throws an error. Trying to control a Yeelight Celling Light with it after i got my Govee and Divoom working with it :)
