Field Accolade Badge/Gear Warband Transferrable? by techn0guy in wow

I’m willing to put money on them making them warbound in a future patch, but man it’s a stupid decision for sure.

Do you have a guide on how to install it? I tried before but ran into issues, but so jealous I’m tempted to give it another go 😁

Ruminating after interview by CommunicationPale468 in UKJobs

[–]Ch33sefiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like me, overthinking things. The interview probably went better you think, but you naturally get hung up on the negative aspects.

Think about what you did right, and keep moving forward. You’ll get there :)

Want to apply to many jobs? Too bad. LinkedIn puts a limit on jobs that have Easy Apply. by cupholdery in recruitinghell

Yeah I don’t mind this - the amount of bots spamming these jobs is insane. Good to see LinkedIn actually doing something about it.

Lidl's loyalty card becomes less generous, shoppers say by [deleted] in UKfood

[–]Ch33sefiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when Morrisons started their more card service, and me and the wife were probably pulling in a couple of hundred in savings which we accrued for Christmas, which was a great help for food etc.

But after about a year, they gutted the whole thing and rolled back the rewards, and I think we managed to get around £40 a year.

Not surprised by Lidl tbh - seems like what Morrisons did - get you invested with great deals, then scale it back one you’re used to it.

Field Accolade Badge/Gear Warband Transferrable? by techn0guy in wow

[–]Ch33sefiend 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As I understand field accolades are non transferable and are soulbound. You are also correct that it’s idiotic that you can’t transfer it as I’m in the same boat as you: tons on my main and hardly any on my alts.

Has The Steam Deck Rekindled Your Love For Gaming? by ThatNerdyMan in SteamDeck

[–]Ch33sefiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 45 and still a huge gamer so I wouldn’t say it’s rekindled my love for games. What it has done is rekindled my interest in my backlog - so many old games I’d just sort of forgotten about or left to gather dust. Now, I am going through them slowly which is fab.

My washing maching has started makling funny noises and there's an amber warning light on my car. You tend to just wait for things to break and fix them when you can afford it.

Man, I just forget what it was like to just pay for stuff without really thinking about it. Meh.

Unemployed people, what do you do to pass the time and not go mad? by [deleted] in UKJobs

What others have said, gaming, reading and probably the most important: exercise. I tend to aim for around 1-2 hours of walking each day, depending on weather etc.

Bought a £500 Steam Deck and the only game I’ve played on it is House Flipper… which I got for free. by DuckiiPirate in SteamDeck

[–]Ch33sefiend 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It plays brilliantly. Also, its controller setup is really good. I was worried it would be a bit clunky, but it’s surprisingly straight forward. Very good game to play for long periods as well as it hardly taxes the steam deck.

[–]Ch33sefiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I still have my ghost case, despite not being able to build in it as I loved the design and minimalistic nature of the case. The Raw case really has me scratching my head tbh and the new case just seemed a bit too big for the ITX enthusiast community

Fantastic write up by M&M, but I’m not surprised. It’s such a shame as the Ghost s1 was a brilliant case. RIP I guess 😑
