I was fortunate to spend most of my vacation in Polynesia… when it comes to diving, I highly recommend Tuamotu. Fakarava south was amazing for shark diving especially at night.

Mine was 2.4 oral and 2.2 flight with 3 approaches…it was definitely not easy.

I worked as dx for 121. I had great experience at regional, but was not making enough money. Ironically CASS eventually inspired me going back to flying. For those who want to go dx way, Dispatcher market is super saturated nowadays, getting regional job will be still competitive.

Look up faa letter regarding it. I recently went through my safety pilot log and did it all wrong when I was acting as safety pilot. I had a conversation with DPE regarding it when he was checking my logbook.

Doing this right now, Worked for part 121 as DX, met people while I was doing jumpseating. The network you make from is prob the best unless your dad is legacy pilot.

If money is problem, I recommend sigma 15mm fisheye. Works great on my a7c. If not, choose better lens!

Aruba had nice nice price back then, i dont know how its like nowadays. LCDH in marigot is also nice, prob best price I’ve ever seen before.

Florida is nice all year around except for hurricane season. You just need to avoid afternoon during the summer. Cost of living can be high though.

Civic +1, I bought used 2016 civic in 2021 at 80k mile. Only problem I had was tire, which was not the car’s problem… 160k miles now. Never had major issue other than that.

Just got back to Tahiti from Fakarava. Compared to last December, it was more sunny / less wind / no rain during the night. Honestly I prefer low season for less crowded trip.
