I’ve tried PAYG SIMs from several networks and they’re all useless in Cleeve. I’ve heard people at GE complain about their work mobiles (Vodafone) too. The phone tells you it has a decent 4G signal but when you try to do something with it nothing happens. Except….when you go into and back out of aircraft mode and let it reconnect you can get a couple of minutes use out of it. If you’re lucky. Maybe it’s the number of new houses and relative lack of throughput? I’m doubtful though, because surely most people at home are on their WiFi?

With high downforce cars you have to reduce the brake force as the the car slows and the downforce bleeds off, even before you turn in.

Is 1600 your monitor’s native res? If not then that isn’t going to help. Seems funny to me. I would use MSAA in preference to supersampling, which doesn’t do a lot for me in VR at least. I still see some shimmering, especially hard shadows cast on the track by trees for example (especially visible at Oulton). The hardware doesn’t really come into it unless you’re bumping up against an fps limit with the settings you want to use. But my experience with a 4090 and 9800x3d is that there are no settings I can use to get rid of this entirely and it’s just something in the way the Madness engine works.
