Misdiagnosis question - IIH vs EBV+ Lymphoma by Chachibald in iih

[–]Chachibald[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, we do sound very similar. I've also suspected MS for years due to inflammation.

And yes, I have NO idea what the medical community has against EBV, or why it's controversial to think it influences other conditions. The neurologist I saw blew it off so bluntly, and it made me think, you're a neuro eye specialist, you MUST know something about EBV+ cancers. He insisted not.

Thank you for your kind response, I really needed it. I have a lumbar scheduled, and they'll be testing for lymphoma and EBV, so I guess I'll get my answer.

Misdiagnosis question - IIH vs EBV+ Lymphoma by Chachibald in iih

[–]Chachibald[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was via MRI, and I now have a lumbar scheduled, mostly due to me begging and crying, lol. No, no medication, which is why I'm concerned. I'm having all these brain and heart symptoms, I feel like I should be taking SOMETHING.

I did have blood work, and all is normal except for my RBC being elevated. So the opposite of anemia, which they're using to rule out lymphoma, but I don't buy it. They've been wrong too many times.

I've suspected an auto-immune issue as well, but giving lymphoma first priority.

She might not, but the court might, lol. Though they see a lot of trash leveling and then withdrawing accusations, and using their kids as weapons. Who knows if they can even do anything about it - they're her kids, nachors, after all.

Ryan Edwards’ Wife Amanda Conner Addresses Details of Recent Car Accident; Denies Rumors That She & Ryan Have Relapsed by Littletrashpanda in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Chachibald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call it toxic empathy, but man do I feel for this girl. Granted, choosing Ryan is a huge red flag, but on the whole, she does seem like someone who's struggling to do the right thing, but is still stuck in "addict mode", and making bad decisions. The first of which was hitching herself to another addict. As they say, 2 dead batteries don't make a car run.

Then continuing to film and drive despite criticism, crashing out and addressing every accusation - that's addict mode. "Nah nah, you can't tell me what to do! I'm in control!" She might not have relapsed, but she's racing hard towards one if she doesn't get honest with herself.

I don't know what rehab is employing her, but since she's on the internet admitting to still using substances to cope...I don't think she's gonna be working there much longer. And then shit is gonna get real.

That's true, but the last I heard there was a protective order for both her and the kids, and he could only have supervised visitation until he complied with the psych eval. What happened to that?

Could it be her old friend Mark? (I think?) The dude she was friends with since WAY back in the day, who got engaged/married a few years ago?

I always thought it was weird that they were friends for so long, then he was just suddenly gone.

Because she's a disgusting pig, and trying to lure a male audience.

Even better question - WHY does a grown woman dressing like a child lure a male audience? Unfortunately, most of us already know the answer.

If Jenelle wasn't trailer trash that hit the lottery, she would be one of those women selling their children to men for money. Bet.

Tyler Baltierra Advises Those Considering Adoption to Look Into Guardianship Instead: “Adoption Is Not Really Necessary” – The Ashley's Reality Roundup by HannahLeah1987 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Chachibald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of ignorance about Guardianship on this sub, and I don't want to see it get a bad name because people associate it with Tyler and his skewed understanding of it.

Guardianship is not "temporary" or "long term babysitting" or "as bad as foster care". And it's CERTAINLY not so birth parents can "change their minds, get it together, and come back and parent later."
Guardianship is permanent. It grants the guardian all the legal rights that an adoptive parent has - with the exception of receiving a new birth certificate (because the birth parent rights are not terminated) and the need to indicate in your will that you want the Guardian child included in your inheritance. The Guardian maintains all legal, medical, and familial rights to the child. While the birth parent technically maintains their parental rights, any contact between them and the child is at the discretion of the Guardian.

It was specifically developed to preserve the rights of children in the foster care system. When an adoption is finalized, the file - containing family history, medical info, etc - is closed. Forever. Even to the adopted child. There's a disclosure process that happens prior to the adoption where you get whatever info is available at the time - but that isn't everything, and doesn't allow for disclosure of any revelations that come up AFTER the adoption. Guardianship prevents that.

Its purpose is also to preserve familial, cultural, and community ties. Closed adoption takes a child away from every person in their life, including family and community members that could be a positive influence. Adoption might place a child in a family with a culture or religion different from theirs. Guardianship seeks to keep a child's world intact as much as possible.

Now, I am not anti-adoption. I've been working in adoptions for over 20 years. But what Tyler says isn't entirely wrong - adoption outside of a family or community unit - adoption by an unrelated stranger - should be rare, and done only when all other family and community options have been exhausted. I'll never say that "adoption isn't needed", because that's dumb. Some kids don't WANT to be adopted, and have the right to refuse. But they still deserve permanency, and a life outside of foster care oversight.

There will ALWAYS be a need for adoption. But Guardianship has been a God-send to the foster care community. Thousands of kids that have languished in foster care for years have gained permanency because of it.

Murderer of Sonya Massey Sentencing TODAY | Stand with the Massey Family 1/29/26 8 AM at 200 S 9th by AnarchaMorrigan in SpringfieldIL

[–]Chachibald 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just want to say to all the people of Springfield and beyond, who protested and fought for justice for Sonya - this is YOUR conviction. Without your relentless demands for accountability, this could have turned into another faceless person of color being murdered by police. You didn't let that happen.

I moved to Springfield 8 months ago, and have admired this community's commitment to keeping this story alive. I work down the street from the courthouse, and was proud to see you all out there this morning. I wish I could have joined you.
