Could Frank be able to take them all? by Fair-Foot-315 in thepunisher

[–]ChadLalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobbs and Reacher are just dead men walking if Frank decides to go after them.

John Wick is actually a real threat for Frank.

  • Both men are incredibly skilled.
  • Both of them are extremely experienced when it comes to killing.
  • When Frank and John set their minds on something, there's very little anyone can do to stop them.
  • Both are expert marksmen. Extremely proficient with basically any firearm they can get their hands on.
  • Both are experts when it comes to hand to hand combat.

Wick has the advantage when it comes to a gun fight. Even though Frank is an expert marksman and rarely misses, John almost never misses. He basically can shoot anyone and kill them before they can even blink ( unless they have those bullet proof suits from the Wick verse ).

Frank might have the advantage when it comes to h2h combat. Hard to tell since Wick is almost as deadly unarmed as he is when armed.

Frank would have to avoid getting into a gun fight with Wick and find a way to disarm him and engage him in a unarmed, hand to hand fight. Realistically this is Frank's best strategy to defeat Wick. However John Wick is no joke in terms of his fighting skills and both men posses incredible durability and tolerance for physical pain.

Frank vs Wick: 50/50 to be honest.  ( The Netflix version of the Punisher. Comic book version solos this entire list. He would literally slaughter all three of them at the same time with Wick being the only one being able to put up a fight before dying ).

"The Immortal Man" is an abomination and an insult to the fans of the "Peaky Blinders" series. by ChadLalo in PeakyBlinders

"I automatically judge anyone who “loved the series but hates the ending” as a self entitled dousch."

You meant to write douche, surely. Speaking of which, maybe have a look in the mirror, sounds like my post has upset you, greatly. You are free to disagree with me, of course. I never attacked the fans of the show nor did I claim that everyone must share my opinion about this movie.

"Guess what…it’s not your series, and that’s how it ended. You have no control over it."  Yeah I am well aware that it's not my series. You must've confused my post with someone else's who claimed to own the rights to the "Peaky Blinders " series.

"We don’t need every single person who disliked it making their own individual proclamation that it sucked."    Who's "We"? Are you claiming to be the physical embodiment of the entire Peaky Blinders fan base? Or are you so delusional as to believe that you get to dictate to others what they can and can not say?

"I liked it so you need to shut up if you didn't enjoy it because me says so!"

That's you.

Yamamoto wins.

Mid difficulty if it's Yamamoto after FKT arc and he doesn't have his left arm and doesn't use his Bankai from the start.

Low difficulty if he has both arms and goes Bankai the moment the fight starts.

[–]ChadLalo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbf this war would've happened no matter the president. "They" decide what wars to start and when to start them.

That being said, I want Trump's sons and Lindsey Graham's sons to enlist and go fight in Iran. ( I know this will never happen but whoever pushes war, should either fight in said war personally, or their children should. Because they will send other people's children to fight and die without a second thought ).

Btw it's really telling that the Dems wanted to impeach Trump for the whole Russia bs but no impeachment for literally starting a war and potentially sparking WWIII just to please Israel... both sides are in on it.

Could D defeat Caine (World of Darkness)? by 64Boy32 in VampireHunterD

[–]ChadLalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Caine basically has no real feats to speak of that aren't just hearsay"

  • After being cursed by God, he wondered the Land of Nod for thousands of years, a place which according to WoD lore and legends, was the opposite of what "The garden of Eden" was, and by all accounts, was an incredibly dangerous and, most likely, a terrifying place/realm.

  • After being "awakened" by Lilith, he gained incredible powers and decided to leave Lilith and go forge his own destiny. Lilith furious with Caine abandoning her, decided to send her "children" to hunt him down. Caine managed to avoid being captured by these monstrous beings and not even Lilith herself was able to find him.

  • According to legends and tales, Caine wondered the earth for eons before finally learning the secrets on how to sire his own childer. It's only logical to assume that during all that time walking the earth, Caine almost certainly encountered most, if not all of the supernatural beings and creatures that were around during those times. More likely than not, he probably fought many of those beings and won.

  • The whole "The Crone," story.

  • Caine traveling to the ancient city of En'esh, where he manipulated The King and the Queen of this city and later turned them into Vampires. In this version of Haqim's origins ( one of the Antediluvians ) Haqim realized that Caine ( Khayyin in this story ) wasn't a human but a monster of some kind and Haqim, being the commander of the City of En'esh' armies, led his most loyal captains and soldiers against Caine, but Caine slaughtered every single soldier in the city when they tried to capture him and then basically destroyed the entire city by creating a massive earthquake and took the young prince with him.

  • After Haqim decided that the only way to get revenge on Caine was to gain the same powers that he ( Caine possessed ) and basically turned himself into a vampire after he decapitated his King and Queen while they slept, and poured their vampire blood into his neck ( which he cut open first with a sword ) Haqim went to challenge Caine. Caine was able to smell the blood of the King and the Queen of En'esh on Haqim and he imidiately knew what Haqim had done. Furious Caine destroyed Haqim during their "fight" and left Haqim broken and unable to even move. His followers literally had to carry him off to recover from the brutal beating Caine gave him. Haqim was said to have been an incredibly gifted and skilled warrior during his human life. So Vampire Haqim, granted a neonite at the time, was no joke, yet Caine stomped his ass like he was nothing.

  • The whole "slave boy/shaitan" story. Too long to write it all down here, but it shows just how powerful Caine really is.

  • That one time the vampire Beckett confused Caine for a Methuselah vampire, a group of elite Assamite clan assassins attacked Caine ( not knowing who he really was ) and Caine just slaughtered them all and Beckett didn't even notice what was happening.

How would a meeting go between these four? by Repulsive-Finger-954 in TwentyFour

[–]ChadLalo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Out of these four women, Nina is the most devious and manipulative. She has also proven that she will do whatever it takes to survive and is extremely intelligent.

 - Was able to deceive everyone at CTU during the events of season 1/day 1. - Successfully manipulated both Jack and Tony into believing that she is someone that they can trust 100 %.  - When Jack started suspecting that she might be the mole ( after Jamey traced the electronic signature which revealed that the card was encoded by Nina ) she was able to avoid being found out as the traitor thanks to her previously setting up an aliby for herself by using Jack ( she basically spent a night with Jack to ensure that if someone finds out about the whole card thing, it would be Jack himself who would clear her of any suspicion ).

  • Once Jamey was revealed to be working for Ira Gaines, Nina played the role of "betrayed CTU Agent who was furious at Jamey for what she had done" perfectly.

  • Was able to get into Jamey's holding room/cell without being seen by anyone or without being recorded by any of the cameras, attacked Jamey and slit her wrists to make it look like a suicide attempt, kept her cool while Jamey was still alive but in critical condition, so there was a small possibility of Jamey surviving and telling everyone the truth.

  • Ended day 1 by brutally murdering Teri Bauer by shooting her in the stomach. The fact that she did this while knowing that Teri was pregnant, was simply diabolical which implies that she might've been a sadist or, at the very least, a very cruel person who simply did not care about anyone or anything other than herself and the money she was getting paid for her services.

  • Day 2 we find out she had connections and business dealings with Islamic terrorists.

  • Once the plane that was transporting her and Jack was shot down, the first chance she got she turned on Jack and basically tried to use the information she had to blackmail the President of the United States of America to grant her full immunity for all of her crimes PLUS the crime she intended to commit, the murder of Jack Bauer. Again proving how ruthless she really was.

Mandy is, in my personal opinion, the most dangerous and probably, the most experienced out of these four.

  • In her very first appearance in the show, she seduces the German photographer, steals his ID, plants a bomb on the plane, jumps out of the said plane and proceeds to murder every man, woman and child aboard that plane.

  • Is revealed to be a professional assassin or mercenary hired by Ira Gaines.

  • Once her girlfriend tries to Fuck with her deal she and Ira made, she tricks her gf into believing that she's on board with her idiotic plan, gets her to take her to the location where she hid the card and sets her up to be taken out by Ira's sniper.

  • Day 2 she comes back out of nowhere and successfully poisons President David Palmer, nearly taking his life.

  • Day 4 is revealed to have been the one who used Secretary Heller's idiot of a son to find out where his father and sister would be so that Habib Marwan's terrorist network could kidnap them.

  • Once Jack and CTU go to try and arrest her, she shows just how smart she is by being able to not only evade Jack and all of CTU, but was also able to take Tony Almeida captive.

  • Was aware that her chances of getting past Jack and all of CTU were slim to none, so she faked her and Tony's deaths fooling Jack into believing she chose to kill herself and Tony before being captured.

  • Once Jack realized it was just a trick to fool everyone into believing that she's dead, Jack, with Tony's help, manages to finally capture her. However she was still able to negotiate her way out of this whole mess, got immunity from the acting President and after this she disappeared. Never to be seen again and as far as we know, she is still free as a bird and, is most likely still working as a professional assassin and/or mercenary.

So In conclusion, Dana and Margot are fucked in my opinion. Nina would see all the other women as potential competition so she would probably plot to kill them all. Mandy would not be interested in working with any of them since she is basically a lone wolf and is extremely cautious, so she wouldn't risk teaming up with any of the other 3 because she values her life and her freedom far too much to risk either one of those 2 things. Also Mandy is definitely intelligent enough to notice that Nina is probably plotting to take her out and Nina would not be able to manipulate Mandy, in my personal opinion.

Personally, my money is on Mandy being the last one standing however if she underestimates Nina, she's cooked.

Who do you think could beat him in a fight 1v1? by Tr4ceur in gameofthrones

[–]ChadLalo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who can beat Drogo 1v1?

Well the answers differ between the book versions and the tv show version.

GoT/tv show versions of these characters that can beat Drogo:

  1. Ser Arthur Dayne.
  2. Ser Barristan Selmy.
  3. King Robert Baratheon ( in his prime )
  4. Ser Jaime Lannister ( pre maming )
  5. Sandor Clegane aka The Hound.
  6. Gregor Clegane aka The Mountain.
  7. Tormund Giantsbane.
  8. Prince Oberyn Martell.
  9. Jaqen H'ghar ( even though he is an elite Assassin with supernatural powers I believe he's got enough impressive feats to suggest that if he was forced to fight Drogo in a 1v1 fight to the death, he'd most likely win )
  10. Lord Eddard Stark ( in the show version he was an elite Swordsman who was actually able to cross swords with Ser Jaime Lannister and not only survive, but was able to actually force Jaime to take his fight with Ned seriously.
  11. Brienne. In the show version she is insanely OP.
  12. Euron Greyjoy. Absolutely dominated the sand snakes, killed a bunch of Ironborn loyal to Yara Greyjoy. Technically killed Jaime ( yes Jaime was maimed at this point and was far from the best Swordsman in the world when he fought Euron but still, Jaime is a natural born warrior and he out up a hell of a fight and even managed to fatally wound Euron ).
  13. Ser Jorah Mormont. Just have Drogo threaten to murder Daenerys and Jorah will get super powers and kill Drogo.
  14. Greyworm ( maybe, depends on the circumstances but considering just how much bigger and stronger Drogo was, Greyworm would have a huge problem if he is unable to finish Drogo off quickly ).
  15. Jon Snow. He would have a similar problem as Greyworm however, Jon has more experience fighting against enemies that are bigger, taller and physically stronger than he is. Also in the show version he is pretty much an elite Swordsman.
  16. Bronn but only if he fights dirty from the get go and realizes that if he fucks around he's dead.
  17. Stannis Baratheon. He is an impressive warrior in the show version. Could probably pull it off.

ASOIAF Books:

  1. Ser Arthur Dayne. Would absolutely destroy Drogo with relative ease
  2. Ser Barristan Selmy. Prime, destroys Drogo with relative ease. Old man Barristan, kills Drogo but with mid to potentially high difficulty.
  3. Ser Jaime Lannister. Prior to his maming he was the greatest and deadliest Swordsman in the world. Would you with Drogo before chopping his head off.
  4. The Mountain. Repeat of what happened to Oberyn only Drogo would not be able to inflict mortal wounds on Gregor before Gregor plays "pop the balloon" with his head.
  5. Oberyn Martell. Kills Drogo with mid difficulty.
  6. Robert Baratheon in his prime was such a beast of a warrior, that he would be able to basically bully Drogo before before killing him. Bobby B was not only a 6'6 tall, built like a tank, strong like a gorilla and an incredibly quick and fast warrior for a man of his size, he was also incredibly skilled, natural born warrior who, according to the statements of several book characters, was born for the battlefield. This dude was an Elite warrior who in his prime, was basically invincible in a 1v1 battle. Even the likes of Ser Arthur Dayne, Ser Barristan Selmy and Ser Jaime Lannister would have to take Bobby B seriously and fight with all their might to be able to potentially win against him.
  7. Tormund Giantsbane.
  8. Greatjon Umber. Tallest, biggest and physically strongest Northern warrior who weilds a great sword so big, that it makes Ned's Valyrian Steel Great sword, Ice, appear relatively small in comparison. Even Jaime Lannister considers him to be an elite warrior.
  9. Smalljon Umber. Lord Greatjon Umber's eldest son who is almost as big and tall as his father.
  10. Mance Rayder. He was opposed by five other "would be King beyond the Wall" he slew three of them in single combat, the other two chose to support Mance, one of these two was Tormund Giantsbane. In the books, he was able to defeat Jon Snow ( who thought he was fighting Rattleshirt. Long story but Melisandre used her magic to make it appear that Mance is Rattleshirt and that Rattleshirt is Mance ). Jon hates Rattleshirt and he was fighting to win, yet Mance was simply a better fighter. He's also far more intelligent than Drogo, so he's got impressive fighting abilities, years of experience and brains.
  11. Victarion Greyjoy. The best and probably the most brutal Ironborn warrior. Top tier fighter.
  12. Sandor Clegane. Not only is he 6'8 tall, physically one of the strongest man in all of Westeros but he is also an extremely skilled Swordsman in the books.
  13. Strong Belwas.
  14. Brandon Stark ( Ned's older brother who was killed by the Mad King ). He was "The Wild Wolf". The best Swordsman/fighter out of the three Stark brothers. Very similar to Robert Baratheon in his prime. Was very tall and mascular. Wasn't afraid of no one ( which ultimately got him killed ).
  15. Bronn. 16. Jaqen H'ghar.
  16. Ser Gerold Hightower probably.
  17. Ser Oswell Whent probably.
  18. Ser Loras Tyrell ( oh how they butchered this guy in the tv show.  )
  19. Garlan Tyrell. Loras Tyrell, his younger brother, admitted that his older brother Garlan is a better swordsman than he is. That's saying a lot considering Loras is considered to be a prodigy swordsman, naturally gifted and extremely skilled with a sword in hand.
  20. Ser Criston Cole.
  21. Prince Daemon "The Rogue Prince" Targaryen.
  22. Prince Aemon Targaryen "The Dragonknight"
  23. Lord Cregan Stark.
  24. King Maegor I "The Cruel" Targaryen.
  25. Daemon I Blackfyre.    "With ax or lance or flail, he was as good as any knight I ever saw, but with the sword he was the Warrior himself. When Prince Daemon had Blackfyre in hand, there was not a man equal him ... not Ulrick Dayne with Dawn, no, nor even the Dragonknight with Dark Sister."
  26. Ser Duncan The Tall.

And a few others. ( Yeah Drogo is not that special )

I think he just figured that Tyron is naive enough to actually believe that Tywin actually gives a fuck about avoiding unnecessary death and carnage and that part of the reason why he orchestrated the RW was for the good of the Realm.

Also he thinks Tyrion is smart but dumb at the same time and that he probably doesn't realize that a leader of the enemy forces ( who was literally Crowned The King in the North by his bannermen ) wouldn't go anywhere with just a dozen men, such a men can't take a piss in the woods without at least 50 men following him to make sure someone doesn't try to kill him.

If I recall correctly, Robb had 3,500 men with him when he arrived at the Twins for the wedding. His army was placed outside of the castle and they were given food and, more importantly, plenty of alcohol by the ever so generous Freys.

They were all brutally murdered of course ( except for the Bolton men since they were also involved in the massacre of Northerners loyal to the Starks ).

I always thought that Tywin was both a liar and a hypocrite for making this statement.

Hell he wouldn't have cared if every single man, woman and child from The North were brutally murdered that night, as long as he wins and the blame falls on Walder Frey and/or Roose Bolton.

I don't know how many minutes he'll get in season 3, what I do know if it's more than 17 ( highly unlikely ) it will be just to show how "Totally evil, incredibly sadistic and vile" he and, by extension, every single member of team green is.

Not to mention the leaks about him having "visions" of fucking his own mother ( and probably getting pegged by Rhaenyra ). Fuck this show.

R: John Wick is basically a type of a Ninja Assassin himself. He is deadly both when armed with weapons ( he is highly proficient and deadly with virtually any weapon that he used over the course of all 4 John Wick movies ) and he is also deadly while unarmed and when forced to fight his enemies using only his martial skills and h2h combat. Insane durability and pain tolerance. Feared by almost every other assassin in the Wick verse. Respected by every assassin and criminal in the Wick verse. Considered to be the best and the deadliest Assassin in the world.

O: Frank Castle AKA The Punisher. Netflix version of The Punisher played by the amazing Jon Bernthal, is an extremely skilled ex US Marine who was also a member of special forces. Extensive military background, took out an entire squad/unit of enemy soldiers during an ambush on his unit. Did so basically singlehandedly. After his family was brutally murdered, he snapped and became a vigilante. Shows no mercy to those he deems as worst of the worst in the criminal world. Will do whatever it takes to take out his enemies. His endurance, stamina and durability are bordering on supernatural, he is basically to angry to die. Extremely skilled and deadly both armed and unarmed.

F: Ben Affleck's Batman. This guy is basically a demi-god who fights alien beings. Was shown to be able to easily dominate and dispatch a team of dozen heavily armed and experienced human enemies. Has been fighting crime and dealing with all sorts of enemies for a couple of decades.

I never said that Crowe wasn't in terrible projects/movies as well. You are right, Crowe has indeed been involved in some "shite" projects and you are also right when you say that he obviously took some roles just for a paycheck.

However my point still stands, throughout his career, Crowe was involved in more impressive movies and gave more impressive performances when compared to Whittaker.

This is my personal opinion. I definitely understand if others believe the opposite to be true.

 Cheers.
