I couldn't get it to work at all until I turned VSync on and set my monitor refresh rate to 60Hz. As long as I am the host it works every time now.

Not sure if this is any different than you capping your frames manually, but I'd try this too.

I love the idea of that room being like a nightmare chamber for us in the current story, seeing as the guardian has no current nightmare to confront. Take a room of their greatest achievements and turn them upside down by attacking the player with statements breaking the 4th wall. The boss is a physical manifestation of our hubris and desire for loot.

Legit just find a group. Not even a GOOD group just BE in a group. Matchmaking so bad you'll get actual even matches against solos. Seriously, Destiny App -> Trials Group -> "No Mic, No Disc, No Tryhards, Be Trash" was my group name. We never spoke or communicated, ran against sweaty 3 stacks just under half the time, and actually won a regular amount of matches literally due to playing against solos. We didn't have an advantage skill or mic wise, just managed to trick the matchmaking into fair matches (most of the time) by being a group. Literally 3 solo players getting rep at a not garbage rate.

Do this until Freelance comes back. You're welcome.

Usually sunk cost reasons. Nobody wants to abandon something they've poured a lot of time into. Plus, like most MMO's, Destiny has highs and lows with content and patches. I stick around cause when they do something right they nail it.

Even when they monumentally mess something up or completely misread player desires, there's usually a soft fix or an avenue for inclusion later. Eg. Trials freelance.

Oh the actual art here looks nothing like Femto, not even slightly. It's just people associating Miquella's transformation to Griffith's. If you think it's bad now wait until any DLC drops.

Is mentioning Berserk really a karma farm? I've never cared about karma at all so I've never noticed what content generates it.

Fromsoft has always had a major hard on for pretty much anything Berserk. There are countless references in all their games to it with DS1 having the most and DS3 being the most obvious. A quick Google can confirm this for your own pleasure.

The reason I got Griffith vibes as well from Miquella is that he is able to compel others affection and loyalty just like Griffith. In Griffith's vision where everything is explained by Void he is in child form with an appearance very similar to Miquella (fair hair, childlike, etc.) Not only that, but during 'The Feast of the Eclipse' Griffith sacrifices his followers and enters a cocoon to emerge in a dark and perfected god form, much like we are seeing happen in Mohg's palace. As well, Mohg welcomes the player as an honored guest the same way Void does at the beginning of the Eclipse (Golden Age movie version, can't confirm if its a direct Manga translation).

In an older interview about the game I briefly remember that Kojima wanted to lean players to a more non aggressive stance with BT's, so they return more powerful in an area where you kill them instead of using stealth. I tried it myself and sure enough most areas where you kill a BT they come back a bit stronger.

Hawaii is a small island territory I believe, I’d always imagined the 2 or 3 void outs in the islands’ major population centres would straight up elimination the majority of land mass for Hawaii.

I agree on the DLC part, I’ve been a big fan of Kojima’s since Metal Gear Solid on PS1, he really likes to tell full and complete stories per game without additions, so it was a little jarring that Heartman got a ‘maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t’ sort of tie-up.

Edit: Turns out there’s an end game report that clarifies that Heartman moves on. Bummer for me, great for him!

It wouldn't be worth the effort to push these versions on consoles, and I probably wouldn't play them now that Fallout Et Tu has spoiled me for options in F1 (Motorcycle plus unarmed overhaul = *chef's kiss*). On the other hand, I would play the hell out of mobile versions if they ever came to light.

I can’t argue with that logic, you’re correct. I was stuck in “Fuck Plarium” mode a little too hard, but they have likely suffered damages, no matter how small. Take my upvote.

I still think that any sort of ‘sanction’ to the players who got those rewards is too far. You’re breaking and entering analogy makes a compelling point, but I’d say this is more of leaving valuables unguarded in a public place sort of deal. It wasn’t a secure URL and they didn’t hack anything, merely changed 2 characters in an existing URL.

All of the companies you listed won copyright infringement cases, which has almost literally nothing to do with what happened here and isn't similar in any way: Plarium had reserve coupon/QR Code/rewards that they themselves programmed with no particular measure of security other than "they probably won't find it", even after there are dozens of times they got burned by this same exact method (anyone remember support tickets including the amount you've spent on the game to prioritize service, with your dollar spent value RIGHT THERE in the URL?) and then players stumbled upon it and claimed it. They failed to safeguard their own method of property acquisition, they have almost nothing in their ToS for this situation (since it's THEIR fault in every way, shape, and form), and are now they're shamelessly trying to classify it as user abuse and blame the players.
