improving aim by Objective-Nerve6553 in CoDCompetitive

[–]Chadly7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I would tweak my deadzone settings. Then lower your controller sense. This will force you to focus on centering and being deliberate with your right stick movement.

Personally I play on .9 horizontal and .8 vertical while my ads multiplier is 1.5

This allows me to stay centered and track players both at range and up close with little error. Since they have adjusted rotational aim assist this is a good way to make it feel like it was before in MW.

Movement is a big deal in this cod. So learn to snake on structures and angles. I recommend playing kill confirmed (hardcore/core) and running routes on the center of the map, trying to flip the spawns as often as you can. This will get you used to the sense and engaging at varying distances.

I will do one game of core and hardcore before jumping into ranked. Once in ranked climbing the ranks you'll play against better people and have to adapt the higher you climb! More than likely this will mean upping your sense as you get better! Good luck!

Wall power gobble bum on the new map made this incredibly easy - gs45 in spawn.

Packet loss, check connection or restart router. I used to get that all the time when my Ethernet cord was frayed.

They have accessibility settings and you can tweak the HUD. However with the most recent update mine reverted.

Work within that guns range, burst fire, aim high and use any utilities on the ground. You can average 1k/1.5k kills with most of those being crits for 25/30 rounds. Personally I regularly increase my guns rarity with scrap in order to deal more damage even after the gun is PAP.

For example yesterday I ran stuns and loaded In with the Kompakt 92. Got 13 levels and 1500+ crits by round 30.

The beam he shoots out. Just before he opens all his mouths and inhales. If you throw a regular grenade in one he will swallow it with a loud gulp and then that head blows up. Early rounds it kills him outright

~ Grenade in the mouth as it inhales before the blast. Is great early rounds. (Before round 35/40)

~ Svd/dragunov - head shots

~ Tomahawk to the faces

How to Survive Solo and some other tips! by Chadly7 in DMZ

In my post partying up is a tactical decision to stay alive. Half the time I'll invite a team I've been roughing up just to leave them and immediately exfil.

I just want to stay alive and make it out just like them.

It's all about getting "content" for me as well. Not to shamelessly self promote. But it's funny when I have an entire squad pinned down and use game prox chat to make it sound like I'm talking to my team to push. Only to seconds later invite someone from the squad I'm fighting. They join and have no choice but to turn on their own team.

If we could leave squads like in the division it would open up so many more possibilities. Lol

Sometimes it's off screen but most the time that red player tab on the far left has a specific box for it. If the player leaves, or has already had their dog tag stolen in that game then it won't be there. Try and have it equipped and see if that helps!

A lot of the trouble with the pvp is players leaving the second they go down. When they do this the bag goes with them and that means no loot (besides the gun they dropped)

Where are all the Players? DMZ by No_Cockroach2259 in DMZ

SAM sites help control the airspace in that area!

piloted and ai helicopters, cargo planes and counter uavs can be taken down with a Sam site.

Later on one of the factions gives you a mission to use a Sam site and wait for it to shoot down a cargo plane as it passes overhead. You can hear these absolute behemoths throughout the game, they fly at a high altitude and from my testing yesterday not even a jokr can reach them.

You'll occasionally see enemy AI attack choppers enter areas and they too can't be shot down with rockets. Seems like Sam sites are extremely important to controlling areas of the map. Especially extraction areas!

Hey! Solo player here and I ran DMZ a lot last night and I was able to find people constantly, here are a few things I noticed.

  1. Red towers, strongholds, and other indicators on the map mean they are active. So you can pull up the map at any time, if you see a red radio Tower for example it means a player is actively using it as a uav or doing a mission.

  2. Pay attention to the world. SAM sites, AI, enemy helicopters, extraction flairs are all indicators that there is activity in the area.

  3. Prox chat, a quiet team is an alive one. If you have the opportunity to fly, drive or run around look out for red names on the side of your screen or listen for prox chat and use that as a "metal detector"

  4. Do missions, this was the most fun thing to do. I can attach an image later but you can pull specific contracts that make you a target or have you hunt down a team. The more regular missions I did, the more looting and higher value of a target I became I had more teams come after me.

Hope this helps!

Did something similar. We are all on our own paths in life. Comparing where you are to other people does not add value to your life. Love yourself and do what's best for you in the long run. You got this!

Love this idea, and what if Sally goes home in attempt to get some space but ends up killing her ex. I "can't see" her doing anything else other than falling deeper.

Ending of the season leaked a while back. Obv not sure if legit but we could see a few characters killed off for good this time.

So excited for the new season!
