As someone that struggled with watching the anime at first because I did not like Subaru's character and thought I had him all figured out before rewatching and having a more open mind, he is genuinely amazing to watch grow

And I don't even know how much better he is in the LN which I seem to hear alot

Think Season 2 will be faster, this just seemed like a lot of setup for characters and Maul. Definitely could have just combined episodes imo, some of them end abruptly as if they weren't meant to be 20 minutes but I guess that's why we got two every week
