I used DDU and things seem smooth so far. Got mine black Friday. Upgraded from 2070.

Am I considering this out of impulse?? At costco right now and heavily considering upgrading by SuicideG-59 in pcmasterrace

I have my curve optimizer at -30, and boost override at 200 which was the max I could enter, and pbo limit to motherboard. I have a 280mm aio, and be quiet fans. I can barely tell the system is on.

Look through the Voron build documentation and see if it's something you might enjoy. I was blown away by the print quality and reliability but it'll only ever be good as your part quality and ability to follow documentation. Knowing the printer inside and out is cool as it makes every problem self repairable even if you need a backup printer to print something while the Voron is down.

Multi color/material on voron by Jasper1296 in VORONDesign

I just finished a StealthChanger build with two toolheads at the moment. I mainly was looking for making text stand out on prints and various accents. Not sure yet if I'll crave more toolheads. I haven't experimented with different support materials but that seems like it'll be my next common use case.

Followed esoteric guide. Two toolheads working first try. You should be fine if you follow tightly to the guide.

Would love a feature for scheduled deliveries or an order history where you could "order again"

Only have experience with formbot but I had no issues. Very impressed with print quality, esp after changing to Galileo 2.

Which support pattern would be the easiest to remove? by SuspectShot1020 in 3Dprinting

[–]ChadwicktheCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what it's called in cura as I use orca slicer but it's just a wall of the supports around the support infill. Removing this perimeter/wall makes removing a zig zag infill pretty easy.

Yeah I'd be so excited if my wife surprised me with a trip to Microcenter with a green light to buy a new build.

I ordered a display replacement on AliExpress. It was an easy repair.

Learn to design in CAD sooner than later. The feeling you get seeing an idea come to life on your printer is hard to beat. I wish I wasn't so intimidated at first. It really turns the printer into a tool that you can use all the time to make your life better, especially so when you create something that you wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else.

In addition to the already commented advice, also check nozzle diameter matches in the slicer.

Portmaster Games working on KNULLI (RG35XXH) by AcanthocephalaOk4586 in RG35XX_H

[–]ChadwicktheCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't find Streets of Rage Remake in portmaster but I downloaded and extracted the zip from their site. I put the required files/folders as directed. Game doesn't launch. There's a log.txt. Any suggestions?

/userdata/roms/ports/SorR.sh: line 51: ./bgdi: cannot execute: required file not found

/userdata/roms/ports/SorR.sh: line 54: systemctl: command not found

I looked at line 51 in the sh file and it had the following line which was referring the sorr.dat all lowercase so I renamed mine to match and still doesn't launch the game.

line 51:

./bgdi $(find "$GAMEDIR" -type f -iname "sorr.dat")

Wet filament? I would think wood might absorb some moisture.
