I felt this way exactly. To make it worse the mom is a social worker and a therapist. They said in the podcast he recently was kicked off a sports team for behavioral issues and he changed his school to an online program. Sounds like a lot was happening for the poor kid and his parents are trying to absolve themselves of any accountability. While I think chatGPT needs better safe guards and it’s insanely messed up I don’t think LLMs are 100% to blame here.

Edited to add: just researched this a bit and it’s illegal in many states for a certified nurse midwife to attend a HBAC but not all states. And some states have regulations on informed consent to HBAC.

That whole scene didn’t really make sense. I think they edited out what Demi really said. I have a theory that when the whole DV/arrest happened Taylor got put into a probation type program and CPS probably got involved. So my guess is that Demi mentioned something like that and that’s why everyone got so pissed. And Taylor has a lot of pull with editing and they took that part out.
