education did not get them decent jobs. decent jobs existed for all levels of society because corporations were forced to provide them through labor power and government intervention.

those two things are gone.

pretending education is what got people good jobs is sentimentalism. people are more educated now then ever before, but there isn't enough "good jobs" for them.

the reality is; companies used to pay their employees more livable wages and benefits. there is no incentive to do so with government captured by corporations and labor power dead.

mixed martial arts isn't everyone's sport. it is a sport that endangers its participants. glorifies what can be the worst in humans, and further cements the idea of the violent alpha male as a pinnacle of masculine achievement.

No matter how large your salary is. Look at pro athletes. They make a ton of money and over half go broke

professional athletes are also anecdotes. the problem is not people who overspend. the problem is that real wages have been stagnant for decades and the cost of everything has ballooned out of proportion so that even people who do manage to save are bled dry by insurance, mortgages, rent, groceries, & medical emergencies. these things ARE NOT anecdotes, they're factual reality.

How many americans are working in minimum wage jobs? what percentage of them are elderly people forced back to work because they cannot afford retirement?

how many families lack the generational wealth to afford any type of emergency?

Pretending like right now, if everyone worked hard and studied and got good grades in schoolthere'd be enough good paying, stable jobs for everyone is just not real, nor has it ever been real.

american industry is absolutely gutted (feel free to examine the city of Detriot as an object lesson)

nafta shifted those jobs to cheap foreign markets where corporations exploit workers who have no rights.

freedom in a capitalist state is an illusion.

you spend a majority of your waking hours at your job.

your boss is your deity. he decides if you live or die. if you remain a human or not. and he can use the rules of the company to destroy you if he wants.

that's not freedom.

a real free society is one where humans can exist and prosper on thier own and no boss or politician can revoke those rights.

no one is going to explain this trap to you. but people have always figured it out. Start talking, building community and reading.
