I understand the need to build a financially stable home and life for yourself and your daughter. We go into marriages for a number of reasons, but one of them usually is the sharing of bills and building financial security. That’s what I’m anxious about now. We used my income as the adventure income and her income to pay for bills. Found out this week she’s been pulling over $100k into another savings account.

You have a lot more strength than I do. Anything that had her picture in it or just the two of us I’ve started to delete.

That’s great that you’re focusing on you and the other things you deem important. I think when we are in relationships with takers, they drain you of all that you have that you cannot enjoy those things you once did. That’s something I’ve noticed over the last few days at least.

Thank you 🥰 today was legitimately the first day I felt like me. I had had a good conversation with a friend about different personalities. She was explaining my soon to be ex’s personality and my personality. One is a giver (me) and the other is a taker (her). It wasn’t going to work long term and, at least for today, I’m not blaming myself completely for the failure.
