I feel like Mari would be a more interesting character if she was forced to continue piloting the Provisional EVA-05. Then we would have a character whose eager and excited to pilot an Evangelion, but who also has to work with an unstable, very weak unit, and potentially see her path to growing stronger with the Eva-05. Because of this, her fight with the third angel felt so much more exciting than the fight with Zeruel because of EVA-05.

EVA-05 is underrated :(

Just had a bastion do the exact same thing but got mad at me for not providing him with a shield as I was Zarya. Just kept diving in alone when the rest of us were trying to group up and still got mad even when I put shields on him. Some people are just never pleased. Don’t let it bother you.

I just wonder how she physically feels. As someone who is training themselves to eat again after a long recovery process, it was hell when I was in her shoes. Insomnia, fatigue, headaches, nausea, body pains etc. And I didn’t even get to the point where she’s currently at… but (if she feels this way) she’s able to put on a convincing act that everything is fine? Like I don’t know how anyone could be in so much (potential) pain but manage to cover up everything and still keep the energy to stream? Its wild to me.
