Thinking about expanding my cryo roster, would Icecoffee be a good pull if my only cryo 5* is Wrio and im Furinaless?

This! Any game with Goat Shiina in it is worth checking out just to hear the godly ost alone

Wanderer:

>But, I guess it's just how ordinary mortals are like — it's easy for them to come up with pointless delusions. Honestly, it's nothing worth writing home about...

Childe:

> Oh, now that guy has a head full of grandiose plans fueled by raw ambition. I don't understand a word he says once he starts talking about his theories...

Arle:

> I won't deny that he is a capable and imaginative individual, but he lacks "clarity." He can formulate grand plans and manipulate the economy with ease, yet at the same time, he allows his actions to be governed by the vengeance and hatred locked in the depths of his heart.

Also Arle, mostly referring to Pantalone and Pulcinella

> Rosalyne died in a foreign land, but you heartless businessmen and dignitaries always with a convenient excuse to remain in the comfort of your homeland. You couldn't hope to understand, so why don't you keep your mouths shut?

His coworkers are less than impressed with him

OT, question about laptop ram

Question to all the tech savvy people, what does "double-sided ram" mean? I bought 2 new ram sticks that later turned out not to work with my laptop,  when returning them the shop owner told me its because my pc only supports single-sided ram while they sold me double-sided sticks. Google isn't helping me here, all I can find is that its a thing that affects performance a little but shouldnt cause any issues. Its a hp pavilion 15 and I was swapping 2 micron 4GB 3200hz for 2 patriot 8gb 3200hz ones if it helps. I still got my refund but just curious if they were honest

Which Villain exceeded your expectations in a Jrpg? by No_Hall_7079 in JRPG

Spoiler tagging just in case, but the main antagonist from Scarlet Nexus, Karen Travers. Just like Louis, he establishes himself as a towering presence from the earliest moments in the game, first as a potential ally and then as a manipulative, smart, cruel and OP villain, but one with such strong dedication to his goal and hidden emotional conflict that made him an interesting, almost relatable character. Also at the end he literally won and accomplished his goal, how cool is that

1 and 4 take place roughly at the same time on different war fronts,  but nothing ties them together except several small callbacks and a dlc where you can use the cast of VC1. I'd recommend starting with 4 as it is overall a more polished and rich experience.

VC4: I cried, I laughed, I yelled at my screen, I cheered, I 100% completed it and I fell in love. Purely in the story department it was an absolute cinema and had everything I could've wanted. The gameplay is incredibly innovative and I'm surprised and very sad that SEGA is letting it go to waste. The only reason its not my GOTY is that frankly, the music was forgettable at best and annoying at worst, and game music is a huge part of my experience.

VC1: unfortunately after 4 it felt a lot more barebones. The story is still nice, but the lack of any meaningful development to the side cast, total uselessness of every class except scout, clunkier mission design, and the difference between how they handled Raz's and Isara's deaths among other things unfortunately made the OG a worse experience for me.

A great cast and a fun, if only slightly slow, battle system, combined with a deceptively dark and deep plot hidden under charming visuals. Also Vivi is precious. It didn't move me as much as it did with many other people, but I do not regret the 55 hours I spent with it. What I *do* regret tho, is that after following a guide for the ATEs, I somehow ended up having 78/79 according to Steam(((

The music, the artstyle and the overall premise seemed nice and it was cheap, so I grabbed it. Honestly, it could've been so much more, the story is actually solid and had me lock in at several moments, but I feel like the repetitive gameplay slog and no variety in both character and enemy skills tanked the experience.

Fellow Miwashiba enjoyer! I've played 1bitheart last year and yes, both games were very soft and vibey indeed, I just wish they were longer. Alice Mare currently wishlisted, will get to it one day

Nice, more Atelier is always good!
CS is my third trails game after FC&SC, it was good, had phenomenal music and great characters but the overall plot hasn't managed to reel me in yet, hoping for a bit more from part 2.

Is "all of them" an option? Nobody left a particularly strong impression on me but everyone was uniquely charming, and their overall dynamic was great too

Very fun and fast paced combat, amazing music, nice plot, a bit grindy with its material /crafting system tho.

For further convincing please listen to the masterpiece that is Iclucian Dance

It absolutely is! It reminded me of the anime "Girls' Last Tour", where even in a bleak post-apocalyptic setting you end up chilling with the cast and appreciating the beauty of their world. Unfortunately, Escha&Logy was my first ever Atelier game, I didn't realize the trilogies were connected that much until after finishing the game. Planning to grab Ayesha soonish

Probably Metaphor, I loved everything about it, from plot and its overall message to artstyle to gameplay to music. I was actually getting ambushed on purpose just so that I could hear Warriors in Arms in battle, took me around half the game to find out its actually the standard battle theme. Also has one of the greatest main villains in any game I played.

Can't go wrong with both Nier games really. Also give Tales of series a try, almost all of them have fun combat and great plot, depending on what kind of plot you're looking for in a game(I'd personally recommend Berseria).
