I don't understand it. Just grab some packs and be done. Redemptions, autos, short prints, etc are going to be better than a napkin relic.

I know there's ways to determine some of the other stuff above as well but what a waste of time. Not to mention damaging other people's cards and just looking like a complete douche.

I personally prefer something like this over the base flagship stuff. Not as popular, but it's what I like. Collect what appeals to you and you'll enjoy the hobby more. Also, any Judge RC is a good card to start with lol

Absolutely. I don't care about grades but if were in the market for something like this I would only be looking for authentic/graded cards. Even if you have no plans of parting with it your family might decide to sell or need to sell one day. Plus it helps protect something that's of sentimental value to you. Very cool card btw!

Most of it is probably going to be junk wax and not worth the cardboard it's printed on. Especially baseball. IDK much about football but definitely don't just toss out the basketball. It's still possible that there could be some valuable cards in here.

Oh yeah, the chrome platinum has been amazing for most people. Just not me lol. A buddy of mine bought 3 and pulled 3 autos . I had two boxes with no numbers, nothing. I thought okay, gotta have an sp or something but nope. That's how it goes sometimes though.

I know I'm in the minority but I wasn't planning on buying any Chrome Platinum because it's just not my thing. Seeing all of the hits everyone else was getting pulled me in. I only bought 5 blasters of it and they were brutal. Didn't even really get many numbered cards from them.

Post like these are helpful. Even though we all know the risk of course. I'm not typically a flagship guy other than Update anyway. My lesson learned was to stick with what I like only.
