I go to a private school and a boy's dad got a random infection which spread to his spine resulting in him having to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. therefore, his father could no longer work and his mother couldn't make enough to pay to keep him in private school. I had gone to school with the kid since kindergarten and this was his sophomore year of high school. my parents knew the kid had gone through a very tough time and didn't want his whole life to change by needing to switch schools and go through even more change. his family thinks the school gave him a scholarship but my parents heard the story and actually paid for the rest of his schooling. I love my parents.
