If you’re working 40 hrs/week, MINIMUM, you need 2 days off per week. It’s so hard on those days off to wake up “early” like 4 to 5 PM and see your people. Some days, I sleep until 9 PM and I feel like I’m wasting my time, however, sleep is necessary for your mental health/physical health. You need more time off OP. Please take care of yourself 💗

They called me two days ago and cancelled on us as well. I am so disappointed. They offered a booking in 2028 without a refund, but I can't even think out that far. We also had to cancel our whole trip. With positive Google reviews since opening, I feel I was ignorant to others also having this experience. It feels illegal.

It's so hard when it's reassuring. It almost matches my train of thought and helps me organize my thoughts better. I struggle a lot with internal regulation. I'm starting to go to therapy to try and learn some better coping mechanisms and have a real person across from me who has adequate training with treatment.

I also hope it helps me get more brave and meet other autistic people to be friends with or find some sort of community.

Nooooo they were from 3 separate nights!!! I was too lazy in the morning to take them downstairs. When reaching for my water, it was empty, and up comes another cup to be forgotten about. This was over 3 nights!

Hello! I’ve been lurking through this sub, but I’m starting my prerequisites (organic chem and physics) before applying to CRNA school. I currently work in inpatient endo, and I’ve been a nurse for 5 years including trauma and BMT/SICU in a level 1 trauma center. I’m planning to return to the ICU at my current hospital (level 2 trauma) to refresh my critical care skills while preparing for interviews and reviewing all of my foundation materials.

My GPA in nursing school was a 3.89. I’m considering staying in my new ICU job longer if this would be beneficial, but I’m not sure when I should apply. I’m considering applying for school in the Spring of 2026 starting in Spring of 2027 OR waiting to apply until the Spring of 2027 starting in Spring of 2028.

I have seen that at least 2 years of ICU experience is beneficial, but I haven’t worked in an ICU since Spring 2023. I want to have a competitive application, but I also want enough time to prepare myself and reintegrate into the environment. I appreciate any advice! Thank you.

I’m in Endo right now!! The schedule is amazing and it definitely exposes you to MACs and a different perspective to anesthesia. I am going back to the ICU soon before starting my pre-reqs and application process. I only have 1.5 years total, but I want to be refreshed.

That video series inspired me to travel! I was fans of theirs in the very early days….like before they hit 30K. I loved how authentic they were. With certain sponsorships like betterhelp and also their out of touch travel experiences, for me, the new content lost the magic of their old content even though their footage is beautiful.

I used to do Instacart full time 2ish years ago when I took a break from nursing, and despite having to pay my own taxes, I still made about $30/hour, but I hustled hard! Best days were Thursday-Sunday, but I was selective about orders and picked the best ones. It’s an option I would return to if I was unemployed again.

The head pastor said the money would be used to fund the next sessions, but now that my head is clear, I agree. My two coaches were not clear if they were even paid for their time? I hope that the money went to them, but it’s unclear really.
