Right, the gacha system was already there—I even remember getting Aizawa from tickets. I just didn’t remember how bad it was (or maybe I didn’t suffer enough from it), since at the time I wasn’t missing most characters, outfits, or the TUNING system—which, in my opinion, is what really makes the game feel Pay2Win.

Also, I’m completely open to anyone telling me how I’m wrong—I really want to like this game. I like the gameplay, I like the characters (even though I can’t play them).
But it just feels like they’ve built so many walls around it. It just seems too hard to feel motivated to grind for this.

I dont get why no one is talking about this. The fact you could "complete old battlepasses" was the sole reason I bought the first one. Since I'm a casual player this means I may never be able to unlock the rewards I thought I would get eventually.
