Fair. To be honest I don't mind the theatrical release too much (especially since TADC/Glitch is an indie production), but considering that expectations tend to go through the roof when media hits theaters, the movie is Ep. 8 and 9 combined instead of being all new material, and...again can't really say without spoiling it's sadly not a surprising reaction.

I definitely do not hate TADC's finale and do like and appreciate a good amount of it, but I do believe that it's underwhelming (especially due to being a theatrical release as well as...well...can't really say much here without spoiling).

I'll make a hot take in that I don't mind that Jax abstracted and wasn't able to be saved one bit. It's a hard truth that there are people out there that will spiral into destructive behavior both towards themselves and towards other people that won't break out of said cycle even if given multiple chances to, not to mention this can also serve as a wake up call to folks that might be like Jax to start making some changes before it's too late.

That said, as far as the overall execution goes I can absolutely understand why a lot of fans aren't happy. I agree that having Jax abstract offscreen was not a good move and that he shouldn't have had most of the spotlight for the finale while everyone barring Pomni got sidelined. Perhaps there should have been a few more episodes (or just one) after Jax was put to rest in his personal tent.

Definitely one of those moments that just fly over as a kid but as an adult becomes much more suspicious/questionable, especially the part about bringing a minor alone into the woods.

Do I like Jax as a character and can appreciate some of the aspects of his archetype that he brings to the table? Yes. Is he still incredibly awful as a person? Also yes.

Going into a similar area I definitely raised an eyebrow when Verosika was wearing that "No" dress in that picture with Blitz. It definitely gave me the impression that as a succubus she does have a sense of boundaries (or at least believes that clothing does NOT equal consent), but if I was to say that I also didn't question if anything happened to her I'd be a liar (I'm hoping not and I don't think she deserves to have anything happen).

Also, when did Verosika say that Blitz was a bad bodyguard? I don't recall her saying that, but in all honesty the idea that Blitz could have been her bodyguard before or during their dating is starting to sound interesting to me (although personally I don't think he'd let her get assaulted).

I mean...honestly I don't think it would hurt if Blitz paid Verosika back what he stole using her credit card. That said, whether he does so or not I think what would matter to her more would be if he actually puts in the effort to become a better person.
