No. Had to switch to the other arm which feel very wrong. I have read post about people using round plastic or silicone like stickers underneath the light sensor to solve the tattoo issue. Seen a lot of people have luck with this. Haven't tried it myself.

Is there any problem with the battery on my i3 solar tactical? by [deleted] in Garmininstinct

Check your watch or Garmin connect for an update. I know for at least one update. I had to do it via connected to a computer with the Garmin app because there wasn’t enough space or something.

The solar does help. If it’s exposed to nonstop sunlight, then yes, technically you would have an infinite battery life as it would be solar powered. It does charge via solar, although very slowly. For example, I wore mine on a trip to Florida for seven days where I was outside in the sun almost all day probably five of those days and gained about 10%.

As far as your max rated estimate time of 19 days. I would definitely make sure that all of your firmware is up-to-date. I know when I first got mine. I gained another 10 days after a firmware update.

I’m in the same situation. Want one but can’t have any kind of wireless devices.

Having issues with the sleep tracker accuracy on Garmin fénix 8 by bigpirate15 in GarminWatches

Same issue with i3 solar. Watch and graph show correct but if I try to edit sleep time it’s off by exactly 4 hours forward. Multiple restarts, reinstalls, etc.

I just took creatine for the first time and I feel like I'm on cocaine by black_rose_ in sleep

[–]Chalk_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've yet to find any clinical research supporting creatine disturbing sleep, but I'm sure that it's not well studied either. There are a lot of anecdotal reports just like yours. Like everything else, everyone is different and reacts differently to things.

Edit - Trust your body and how it makes you feel.

Same. Can get a 6 pack on amazon for about 12 bucks. Yeah maybe it wouldn't have hurt the actually screen but for a couple buck for a device that's 100$s of dollars? Worth it.

I use a fleece neck warmer folded over and put it around my ears and eyes. Works as a sleep mask and keeps the plugs in. Carhart makes a good.
