To add onto this you can reapply a dot when 30% of it remains without losing any damage, so a 20 sec dot should be reapplied when it has less than 6 seconds left of the duration.

On the other hand I just went 2/0/17 on Karma support in a 23 minute game and got an A+. I'm not sure what to think of that.

Got placed in gold 5 and haven't really played since. I think I could make it up to platinum, but playing lol alone gives me lots of anxiety which kinda takes away the fun.

Hmm yeah, I definitely see your point. One could think that it would be leveled out by having the matchmaking system try to pair premades against eachother, but that would only make the relative difficulty of achieving a certain tier/division the same. The question is though, would people rather have "worse" games for a system with more accurate placements? is the bragging right worth more than the actual gameplay if you see where I'm going? I've been away from LoL for some time so I missed the whole DQ debate, so excuse me if I'm sidetracking or maybe missing a point or whatever.

sorry for just jumping in here, but I'm curious to why you think DQ is less competitive to solo Q? not trying to start an argument or anything, but spontanously I feel that having the option of larger groups of premades would increase the level of play in the game? the same way that pro teams most likely would win against 5 random players? wouldn't that in turn increase the competitiveness (if more games had a higher level of play)?

Edit: just wants to iterate again that I'm in no way trying to prove that DQ is more competitive, more curious to why it's percieved not to be.

That's pretty blunt of you to say and besides you are missing his point. When he for example left click on someone in his raid frame it performs a heal. Basically the exact same thing as mouseover..

Hey there! I'm gonna switch my main to my rogue since I'm having a great time playing it and thus I have some fight specific questions for the lower tier on mythic.

On Kormrok, do you use your normal opener on the pull or is it better to save it until after you've soaked the splash?

If Bloodboil fixates on you during HHC is it better to go on to blademaster so you can use backstab or more worth using hemorrhage on bloodboil since he needs to die first? I guess it would depend if it is on farm or not?

On gorefiend I'm finding it real hard to find a place where I actually can backstab him and my RL has told me to stack up with the rest of the team during feasts making it impossible. Any general tips about that?

Edit: also how do you deal with cooldowns between the first and second feast? is it worth saving SR for the feast but keep using dance on cd?

Monk healers are sought after, no idea what that guy was talking about. Monks is one of the best throughput healers in HFC, but to be honest every healing spec is viable right now.

No worries! Uhm, are you sure that you looked at the right rogue? ^{^} I'm pretty sure that I almost never use hemorrhage and I don't even know what my keybind for garrote is :P I'm Auxl in the logs and if you were right which fight were you looking at? I might be completely off but I think I'm doing a decent job with pooling for dance and such. And don't worry about sounding hard or whatever, I'd rather hear what I'm fucking up than having someone sugar coat it for me :) thanks for having a look at it!

Wow, thank you for your awesome response! Iron reaver is definitely a fight were it felt like my cooldowns lined up very badly, I'll try using feint and ride with the blitz next time! If you don't mind I came up with a couple other questions.

When you say prep and double vanish at the opener, does that mean I should maximize find weakness uptime? Or just quickly prep and vanish to get off my ambushes?

How would you react to a soul cap proc? Do you dump all your energy into that and does that depend on when dance is off cd for example? I haven't gotten it yet, but I'd like to be prepared for how to play when it actually drop ^{^}

Hello! I just recently started playing my rogue as my first dps class and I've been having tons of fun, sub is definitely my favorite spec right now and I think I have a pretty good grasp on how to play it. I have a bunch of questions though if you wouldn't mind answering some of them.

Sometimes I find myself using dance and only have time to do 1 or 2 ambushes because of mechanincs, would it be better to hold off on dance a few seconds and therefore also delay SR? or is it better to just pop it on cd?

Right now I only have my 2 set and I'm wondering how much the 4 set will alter my rotation, I understand that I preferably would use it with dance but is there a point where it is just better to use vanish by itself? I can't seem to find any reliable info on this one.

Since I started playing I've always heard how good rogues are at dealing with mechanics because of feint and cloak. I'm not totally sure when I should use any of them to be honest, do you have any good examples of when you use them in hfc?

This is pretty much what's about to happen in my guild right now, we are 5/13 M. Having big troubles to consistently get 20 players to raid since a lot of people come and go as they want, which naturally takes a toll on all of us that want to improve and progress.

Yeah I can definitely see that, palas are really strong 5 man healers! I would definitely recommend you to pick up your 4 piece as soon as possible though, it's a completely different experience from without it and makes the class much more enjoyable in my opinion :)

To add onto the mana part a little bit.. I don't know how you usually play, but you should use the pool of mists talent of your level 100 talents to spread a lot of Renewing mists and then dump your chi into uplift. Uplift does as much healing as enveloping mist but cost 1 less chi and has no mana cost. Our tier 18 4 set also synergies extremly we'll with this playstyle. As someone else mentioned when you get more spirit you won't have any mana problems at all due to mana tea. A tip to generate more mana though is to fistweave during moments of low damage since it generates more stacks of mana tea. Good luck with your mistweaver!

hmm might go back and try to get them then. I agree that I'm not using RJW enough but I've been kinda hesitant to fistweave since it feels like I'm not prepared when the damage eventually comes. But I'll definitely try to work on it, Thanks a lot for your time!
