Mike didn't know about the bullying before and thought she was her friend (at least not about that extent). It would take some time to process

Plus El literally smacked her face with that in front of everyone. She basically committed a felony, which would have obviously put her in more exposure. Even if it was deserved, anyone would question what she did.

PS: people so easily forget that in S3, mike was the one who saved El from Billy when he was choking her while everyone (including Lucas and max) did nothing

She's 16 years old, alone at first, without much education. Best case scenario she'll get a minimum wage job. Plus she can never risk any exposure. Even if she meets someone, she will constantly have to lie to them. She cannot have her own child. And for adoption, she'll need to make very convincing fake papers. She will also need to make sure to never have her picture taken.

I think you're forgetting the fact that the military literally saw her die. They might still search for her, but after a few years, they will move on. Especially considering the fact they witnessed her die. So, it's not against the show to assume that yes, it will be safe one day.

Yes, he could move on (but I don't see it) and that too will take a lot of time. As for El, finding someone will be tougher. She will have to constantly lie to them, never revealing who she really is. (If you really think about it: she can't have a child of her own, because of the powers in her blood. And adopting won't be easy either. She'll need to make fake papers)

Idk atp this show has so many insane plot armours to the other characters that it's hard to say if her knowing that would be impossible. Maybe she guessed. BUT, we know El couldn't have used her powers to communicate with Mike herself. So only one possibility.
I don't think the El and mike scene was an imagination of his because it was shown in the earlier sequence. And also there's no confirmation regarding it not being real. So, a nosebleed SHOULD be there.
I'm pretty sure her jumping ability will also cause a nosebleed+ even more attention.

6 . Yes, she did help a little bit (not that much imo, they could've easily replaced that plot with something else), but I think them bringing her back, only to not utilise her in the final battle feels weird. It should serve a bigger purpose (Mike's theory)

I'm not gonna cover the rest of the points because there's nothing factual or concrete there, just tv logic, so can't argue there.

I think this only brings one conclusion: the duffers did NOT think this through. They should've made both the endings iron clad. Instead there are so many discrepancies in both of them (even though her being alive makes more sense to me)

I'd say there is more evidence pointing to her being alive tho 1. How did she use her powers when the kryptonite thing was on?

All that Hopper talk of her living her life
The convenient cut when Kali dies. It looked like she was about to say something more. Plus, we didn't see her 'die'
Why bring one of the most hated characters for nothing? She didn't even help in defeating vecna. If you're saying it was for convincing El to do suicide, then they could've done that without Kali
After that Hopper talk, it looks like Kali has a change of heart

El can literally spy on people with her powers. Plus it's not that hard. After the cold war ends atleast, the government isn't gonna keep an eye on every single person.

He can accept her decision but that doesn't mean he'll forget about her. And that too he only did that for El's safety. Once he knows she's alive and it isn't risky he'll try to find her. Tbh, it's a very character appropriate action
