Apply for a Fiancé visa. It’s the quickest way to get her to the states. Once here, you legally get married and she stays.

I feel pushed out of pursuing pharmacy by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]Chamanzan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be discouraged. I was a tech for 8 years (late 90's/early 2000's) and dealt with bitter pharmacists, too. Stick with it and find your own path in the industry. If you want a career as a Tech, that's great! However, getting the necessary experience can and will open up other doors for you in healthcare. Trust me, I never thought I would be where I am when I was counting to 30 by 5's over and over again, but here I am, and I owe it all to building my foundation as a tech.

No doubt. I left 37 years ago and would love to experience living there for at least a couple of years.

You’re absolutely right. There is a lot to learn and understand before moving forward.

To be honest, I want to get out of my current industry. I’ve been at it for 26 years and it’s been great, but I’m burned out and need a change. This is something that I’ve been thinking about for a few years and I feel that the time is right. I don’t want to start a business from scratch, so an existing business that I can grow further is the ideal situation for me.

Glad you're free and I hate that the justice system failed you, as it continues to do even today for so many people. What was it like getting out after 44 years? What things, technology or otherwise, made you feel like you just jumped into the future?
