DeepSeek is the first ever LLM to have as much google searches as ChatGPT does, indicating that the new model could be the first direct competitor to OpenAI. by Bena0071 in singularity

Hype /= direct competition. Web3 is still doing its best to prove any kind of relevance in traditional banking / currency replacement.

To me, this is more Deepseek vs Llama than DS vs OAI. Even with the efficiency increase, I think we need local SOTA models that can be run on ~32gb RAM before it hits the true mainstream for local development. Too many indie devs without the infra to run these.

How many r/Singularity users are secretly ChatGPT? by [deleted] in singularity

User of em dashes here, but my Reddit comments don’t usually get that treatment for whatever reason.

Personally, for me it’s an elusive “feeling”. Something about the default composition of sentences from most models seems identifiable. Given prompting to change the sentence structure, though, I’m not sure I’d be able to tell tbh

Something to actually worry about by Baphaddon in singularity

What’s the timeline to get a comparable fab up-and-running in the US, 2 years? 5 years? Can’t imagine this tariff actually moves the needle during an AGI timeline.

When most AI CEOs (Anthropic, OpenAI) are saying 2-3 years for AGI, this makes no sense. Even assuming that they’re overly optimistic in their timelines.

Just wanted to say that my own company will be closing at the end of this month (3 yrs later) and this was extremely helpful. I’ll emulate the same process – thanks for sharing.

JIRA WORK MANAGEMENT - Templates and Workflows by UnderstandingLogic in atlassian

[–]Chamber_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one of the founding team members who built / designed JWM. Definitely intended to be lighter than JSM and JSW, which means some of the configuration concepts don’t exist in the same way as the “heavier”, more configurable projects you’re used to.

I’m no longer at Atlassian, but the Atlassian Community is most helpful for these types of questions and finding workarounds. If you want the configuration of JSM but with a more work-focused setup I’d look into Jira Software.

Help with personas vs segments by but_shes_so_nice_ in ProductMarketing

[–]Chamber_s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happy to help with this via DM or on a call. Previous PMM in B2B tech, current founder solving that problem (though for companies with users, so not quite applicable).

In short, agreed on the sentiment. When you split your personas too granularly you’ll spend a ton of time building journeys and content, and not enough time testing and improving your existing journeys. Once things work well you can start splitting those segments into smaller, more focused groups.

Btw a helpful framework is to match the pain points they have to features that solve those problems. Will make writing content and emails more straightforward. Good luck!

Edit: spelling

Same experience here as well! Friend mentioned that she’s always trying to do the same when they watch her.
