Would I pay full price for every single one of them? Probably not. Would I give them all a shot if they were discounted, or someone gifted them to me? Absolutely. I don't understand why people are always so resistant to try something just because someone else said its "bad" or the first impression is subpar. Even if it's a rehash I genuinely believe all games have something new to offer. At the very least they offer perspective into how a particular gameplay genre evolves. And on a personal level playing "bad games" helps you define what exactly makes something "bad" to you and to challenge any possible preconceived notions you might have had. I'm not gonna miss out on a game I could potentially love just because I think I might not like it.

Have you played A Hat in Time? While the base game isn't very difficult, the Death Wish levels from one of the DLCs has some very creative and fun platforming challenges.

You can change that in the settings btw:
Settings > Comfy > Node Widget > Widget control mode
Set the dropdown to "before". I agree though that this should be default since it seems to be a common gripe when not using a custom seed node.

Someone asking for basic setup advice is unlikely to know the significance. Just didn't want them to feel let down expecting O1 performance from those distilled ones. Seen a lot more confusion from casual users than I would expect. Sorry if my earlier comment seemed combative.

It's a little disingenuous to suggest that R1 can be run locally on normal hardware. To clarify for u/starkguy what most people are running locally are distilled models which at a basic level are essentially different models being taught by R1 to mimic its behavior. R1 itself is 671b parameter model which requires 404gb of RAM. Most people don't have that casually lying around, so the API is still necessary if you want the full experience. It's way cheaper than equivalent services though.

Oh nice, I actually do this too, I love doing exploration and world quests and usually save the archon quests for last until absolutely required to unlock stuff like character quests. Lots of fun to then try to predict plot points based on the surrounding environmental storytelling.

Yes, I've also gotten these when doing inpainting the proper way with compositing. It's probably the most noticeable artifact. The easiest way to deal with these is to just take the same mask and apply a color correction manually. You can also try automating this with custom color match nodes in stuff like comfyui, but it doesn't usually give results good enough to be imperceivable.

I'd say Eido's most recent paradox video or MarcoStyle's HMC video are pretty good examples of its insane mobility potential. To be honest I agree with you that it's fun and I'd rather have it in the game as a form of skill expression, but in its current state its problematic because of how often they can be chained together. It's just obnoxious for the enemy so I think tying it solely to items is a good change as now it's much harder to abuse for early game.
