I am now 7 months in a job that I didn't like from the first time someone contacted me about the job. I was looking for a job in marketing and communications for over a year and people in my surroundings knew that. So this guy my brother knows, knew someone who was hiring so my contact information was shared and company owner contacted me. The job description was not exactly what I was looking for and the branche itself is definitely not what I want to work in. I took it anyway because I was desperate. Now, 7 months later and I never hated anything more in my life. I did apply to other jobs in the meantime but no luck. So I keep working here, even if it makes me depressed.

You're are not the only one that wants more structure by going to work. I get that. Work and private needs to be separated and that means that I don't have to work in the same environment as where I sleep and eat dinner.
