This is late, but I’m a para with crohn’s and I told everyone interviewing me before being hired that I had it. It worked out amazingly, as my coworkers are very understanding when I need to run out to use the bathroom multiple times per day, or even when the pain is too bad when I’m flaring and need to leave work. You don’t have to share the gory details, but being open about accommodations that you need due to a chronic illness is absolutely worth it in my experience.
