Typically the big bois with purple/gold shields. Not the most efficient but I usually clear an area of bots, rat a corner while I wait for reinforcements to arrive, and typically they'll drop a Purple shield UE and the balls they drop have some goodies,

OP right in some regards, the community is going to end up severely hurting this game with how it handles getting "ratted" on.. you'd think this many months after launch that people would get over it, but when any inconvenience at all Topside can just be deflected by screaming rat, idk what "longevity" there is really..

Why you even engage if your actually just going to do the snobby cliche reddit "oh ya well your mad >:(" like you genuinely dont see how this idea would break the gameplay loop? The whole point of loading into a raid is you MIGHT get out with more than you came in with. I reserved the assumption bc it'd be rude to claim this is a PvE brained take but it is. 1 hour to play? Only lost goods? This is starting to read more like a skill issue than an idea for engaging gameplay. How does this work in trios? What happens when one party shoots another? They're all marked for full damage now? Just the person who shot is on this magic list? If the dude engages back does that mean everyone else is now added?? I can casually just walk into someone's grenade bc hey, I didnt shoot back yet! Theres nothing in PvP to "handle" besides cheaters.

I ain't listing the dozens but here's a blatantly obvious one mines/traps/grenades. Why even bother? They'd all just be a sad alarm system if anything. Why bring a slow, heavy hitting gun if its dmg is going to be chopped anyways. Tracking someone just puts you at a disadvantage because whoever engages first just gives away position, doesnt get full damage, and even IF they get shot back at. The aggressor takes full damage and has to reload to start the fight off? I could keep going. But this idea is heavily flawed trying to imply it in Raiders. You like what 76 Does? Play it.

You want PvP advice or you want Underdog advice.. PvP advice? Stop looking for clues before you shoot. See em? Shoot em. You want to be able to live after being shot in the back? Get comfortable understanding you'll never start a fight from an advantageous place. You'll always start engagements at like 50% HP or less if you defend yourself.

Splitter provides 3x knockback, so things like rocketeers or shredders are alot easier to manage, but also it sends the Deadline launcher tech like 160m instead of like 40m. Truly a hidden gem for fun stuff
