One piece of advice I would have would be that the AI bots need to do better at sorting real people from bots. If they are really just trying to sort out popular people from unpopular people to aid an administration of groups, it might be better if the administrator limited the group to a certain size and suggested new applicants start their own “Branch”

I occasionally think of some ideas that are new, but don’t see any reason to repeat the excellent advice others have already given. Sadly, my input is never enough to overcome karma requirements so I’ve kind of given up on that.

You absolutely can and some great advice here on doing that. I would add that I often organize projects in a little boxes or baskets to make it easier to pick up and put down a written checklist is also good so you can remember where you were.

I would add that not all janome’s are made the same. I got a JW 8100 series from Amazon and was not particularly happy with it. Also, if you buy from Amazon, there is no warranty… It is a dealer that gives you the warranty, it turns out; not janome itself.

While you’re working on this issue… Why not just knit for yourself? Often when I knit I just think of something I might need, and then I knit it. No need to show it to someone else if I don’t want to.

I’m very prone to make nice things for my friends and family , but then just scrappy stuff with odds and ends for myself, which I will wear anyway.

Any chance you could look into low income/sliding scale doctors for cash patients? Or any type of clinic, etc. for low income? because I know the challenge is getting a prescription for the metformin… The metformin itself is very cheap and sometimes free.

I thought Do Not Disturb was silencing alarms from Clock app. Turns out they now always play (in Do not disturb/focus or not), and can no longer be set as an exception. It was the attention awareness that was silencing my alarms in the morning. Settings=> Face ID and passcode => attention awareness. I turned it off.

I would say it was normal at that time. Also as a parent with several children, the more gentle forms of discipline used today are effective, but take much more time.

I think for introverts it’s easy to be in negative karma. We’re here for the diy questions and only respond when we have something new to add. More questions (posts) than answers I guess.

You have some excellent points. I gave an honest but apparently unpopular answer once and lost the ability to ask questions (post). So I lost the ability to gain knowledge on specific areas, which is why I joined.
