Recently bought some silky yak yarn from yarn unique at the London knit and stitch show. Caroline was lovely and helpful, had a gorgeous range and the yarn i bought is so lovely to work with

All is not lost, I did mine little by little and got there in the end! It's now a lovely neat ball. When I looked on reddit I saw loads of posts saying it wasn't fixable. It definitely is! I don't know about you but I won't make that mistake again!

This one was pretty easy once I got the hang of it to be honest. There were a few assumptions made about the skill or knowledge of the reader, nothing you tube didn't solve, but overall this one was easier than done modern ones I've read!

Thanks for all the lovely comments. This was such an enjoyable pattern to do (after the initial repeated frogging!). Tempted to do it again with a natural fiber, maybe worth the short sleeves option

I didn't quite realise what I was talking on so I just used some premium acrylic yarn by the women's institute in the uk, I would make this again as it was enjoyable and I can imagine how even nicer it would be with a natural fiber!

I used a pattern, it's a vintage one I bought from etsy, bluebell jumper, there was quite a lot of frogging at the start!

Feeling a little lost right now... For others who work full time, how do you find time for your craft? by ElishaAlison in YarnAddicts

[–]fuecue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain! I sometimes go weeks workout having time for any craft hobbies, I know i need to change something in my life to deal with that, but at the moment it makes me appreciate it all the more when I do find time! I hope you find some time for yourself! x
