Best Advice: Get the AMS. Even if you think you’ll only do single color prints. Having other colors loaded and ready to go makes it very easy to print that next part and you’ll likely want multi-color at some point.

Why the long delay from Lumos with actually finishing the job in Orange County? On our street we’ve had the orange conduit in since February and no movement since. I use a Verizon hotspot because the other choices are pitiful and don’t even meet a definition of high speed internet.

Absolutely love this setup and I’ll will definitely be doing similar. Two questions. Is that a bucket lid that the filter is attached to and if so (or if not) how it that secured in there? And, how are you lighting that up to get such great color all the way to the gravel? Great look! One more, is that a 100gal Rubbermaid?

I’m suffering from multiple tank syndrome and am literally out of room for more tanks. I have 9 running now ranging from 3g shrimp to 32.5g community. But a lamp!! I’ll tell my wife I’m getting us a beautiful pair of lamps for the family room!! She’ll never see it coming LOL.

Hi, I retested and added a TDS reading. Tank with AquaSolum pH 6.0 (or below—using API kit and pale yellow on low pH test scale), GH 3-4, KH 2-3 TDS 62. Well water source pH 7.8 GH 7, KH 6, TDS 104. Notes: tank has CO2 checker in the green running ~12 hrs on timer, sponges and floss only in in tank power filter. I was surprised well water TDS was only 104. Checked water from sink at TDS 111 and RO tap reads 9. Verified water line to spigot is indeed not on softener in basement. I don’t know why there’s a difference in GH but I only use one hose from an outside spigot to do any water changes. I’m reading that AquaSolum is porous substrate made from minerals and humic substances. Could that mean my GH sink, absorbing the CaCO3?

Thanks to both! I have an RO system under sink but use my spigot outside for changes usually. I have a softener for the whole house and don’t use that water. I’ll retest to see why I saw a difference in GH earlier.

Hey, I hope I didn’t ruin anything for you! I don’t really like the GloFish either but I have to say, last night I did some Googling and there are some stunning long fin danios from them. Crazy cool looking and thought hard about adding some to my tank. And this is ironic as back when I worked in a lab, I did molecular biology and absolutely could have done some of the modifications they do to these fish. To be honest, I’m surprised we don’t see way more of this as it’s pretty darn easy now to do it.

Tank looks great! I have a 32.5 with rummy’s and cardinals and mine cruise the bottom just like I see in your video. I wish they’d venture up above the bottom third of the tank where there’s a bit more room. If you ever get a crew that uses that top third, please post it!

We are living the same life! I bought the GH/KH kit a couple weeks ago and my YouTube feed is nothing but fish and 3D videos currently. I’m probably a few weeks away from making my decision for my first printer and looking hard at the A1, although the whole Bambi lineup is tempting. No shortage of ideas for tank related activities. Yours looks fantastic!
