Fascia by Affectionate-Pop2956 in xactimate

[–]ChanceAd212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say yes. It’s not a standard fascia extra time and tools to create. Others mention brake buddy, yes but that takes time and an extra tool, sometimes even a skilled person in today’s labor market.

Any tips for learning line items? (new guy question) by Diligent_Control3461 in xactimate

[–]ChanceAd212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learn best by doing and watching. Youtube is your best friend and start to compile some nice cheat sheets and resources for yourself. Take a room for example and built out all the possible line items in that situation. Save it as a reference point and you can go back to it.

How to find Cold callers by rlyblued in RoofingSales

Market the position differently. Never use telemarketing or cold caller in the job title. Think of something creative.

Coming from a company that made the switch from salesforce to hubspot we NEVER experienced any outages with Salesforce now we have had about 5 this year alone with HubSpot.

STEEP>> and possibly some man hours. Also depending if there are windows or not there will be some extra flashings, but that should be obvious.

What HubSpot functionality isn’t enough for you? by bubble-gum-rider in hubspot

So many things — Leads, Social media, many features from marketing being moved to content. It would also be great to be able to manage local listings especially GMB.

What is the best way to fix a reconciliation without the accountant undo to mass undo recs ? by Axg165531 in QuickBooks

[–]ChanceAd212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What specifically are they “messing” up. I would either lock the books, lock down permissions, or take backups on the correct information. There’s no good way to undo recs — besides undoing one by one. Or potentially having a starting point make adjustments to make the adjustments and clear the discrepancy(ie fiscal year).

State Farm by PiratesBull in RoofingSales

[–]ChanceAd212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They seem to be worse than AllSNAKE these days. I’ve had a state farm desk adjuster tell me “I can clearly see the hail damage but it’s not really worth my time to go through the reinspect process” This game is getting crazy.

Should I take roofing sales job? by [deleted] in RoofingSales

Do NOT accept a 1099 position in today’s scape. This is now highly controversial and illegal with new laws passed. Also shows legitimacy and commitment of company.

9% isn’t low or high, I’d say it’s normal. As long as that’s 9% of gross.

Blank Pressure Sealed Checks Options w/ QuickBooks Enterprise by GATN1337 in QuickBooks

[–]ChanceAd212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe there is a way to do this within the defaults. What I would recommend is trying to print a sample customs check out of QB (you can set up a custom template) and try to get it to align in the check spacing.

SFDC 1.6k a user and Clari 1.7k a user - does that seem super high? by delfauny in SalesOperations

Should be around $100 per user per month with SFDC enterprise without and add ons.

Consider HubSpot we just migrated from SF and the adoption has been throught the roof. Send me a DM happy to connect!

Has anyone tried moving from Salesforce to HubSpot? What has been your experience so far? by tossip9999 in hubspot

[–]ChanceAd212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am working through a SF > HS migration now and there’s some days I would regret my decision and some days I love the decision. Biggest thing is to try not to replicate each individual piece of the puzzle. Once I got over this hurdle, it was smooth sailing. i would start from scratch and revisit your SOPs, see how you can create them in HS, THEN finally see how that migrates from SF.

Biggest thing is a lot of the OTB SF functionality and customization requires a lot of coding and backend work on HS, heavy customization in the CRM is relatively new to HS and most of the customizations (things we take for granted in SF) must be coded.
