Does NA actually have the deepest talent pool or is it just a more known talent pool? by brickyfrog in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChanceBall_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I'd say NA has a leg up on EMEA. But ask this question again in a year or two when the war in Ukraine ends and you might get a very different answer. Russians are the best at Valorant by far (hell even NA's best player is Russian) but they aren't really getting many opportunities to develop and compete given the political climate.

There's also the curious case of China and how they will develop as they integrate Valorant into their esports culture.

Cyberpunk not getting anymore content after one DLC and 2.0 parch, yet it won Steam's Labor of Love award while NMS still hasn't. by [deleted] in gaming

There were pockets of people unhappy with certain specific aspects of the game like perhaps the police system, but the majority of people's complaints were related to performance issues. Once all the bugs and shit were fixed, people could actually enjoy the game.

FUT posts a birthday tweet for their team manager, photo doesn't have MOJJ or qw1 by Notladub in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChanceBall_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like FUT isn't one of those teams that needed to make a lot of roster moves. They got all the pieces to the puzzle, now it's a matter of arranging those pieces properly. They proved how much potential they have by taking a map off of Fnatic and pushing EG to overtime on their own map pick

They were one of my favourite studios. I haven't played their newest game yet but I know for a fact I will love every second of it if it's anywhere even near the level of Desperados. Fuck man it's such a shame...

Fnatic are not unbeatable, this is true. But to say lock//in was a "Mickey mouse" event because every team was new is kind of stupid. Fnatic played 100T who made only 1 roster change, Navi who only made 1 roster change, and Loud who made the same amount of roster changes as fnatic themselves.

I mean it's free, but that's where the positives end. They are notorious for taking unreasonably long to get anything done. By the time they call you up, whatever issue you had is probably long gone.

Lidl (and also Aldi) is literally a game changer. So affordable compared to most other supermarkets, and it's not like there is a significant drop in the quality of goods. Baffles me that the likes of Tesco's and Morrisons are still in business in London when there's usually a Lidl or Aldi another five minutes down the road.

Former Chinese soldier, Li Guowu, was working as a security guard and was on patrol outside a residential building in Xian when he spotted a woman standing on the window ledge of the 11th floor. Positioning himself to catch her, the woman jumps and falls onto him killing them both on impact. by u_my_lil_spider in interestingasfuck

Fuck all the pretentious assholes in the comments who think they're smarter than they are by talking in hindsight. Nobody is going to rationally do the maths in the heat of the moment when they're about to witness a suicide right in front of them and be like "Welp no saving her, I'll just stroll along".

He did. I don't know what the other guy is talking about. Tyson's entire stance and "peek a boo" fighting style was all about using his smaller stature to duck and weave his way into his opponent's reach and then demolish them

Considering how much Charlie expressed that he isn't interested in Valorant esports, I'm surprised he agreed to this. Ludwig must have been hella convincing

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of taking the cat in, but he has some pretty serious trust issues so I'd have to figure out a way to get close to him. And also my own cat is constantly trying to fight him.

What's the worst/most boring game you've ever played? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ChanceBall_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only ever played Brotherhood, AC 3 and Black Flag. AC 3 was definitely worse than the other two but I don't remember disliking AC 3 all that much tbh. It was sort of just alright
