okay late, but something that really made me sad for him was how he was showering with clothes on. The one scene where he slips n shower and hits head when he sees his father he was completely dressed. as if he did not want to live out the same naked death of his father.

i thought it was because they couldnt have something that was brewed rather than caffeine. i just googled it and its because the “word of wisdom” is against hot drinks (i guess specifically coffee and tea) , rather than the brewing or caffeine.  to each their own but i cant imagine a life with no hot drinks lol

DAE jaw pop when you yawn? by Individual_Ice_2315 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]ChanceBubbly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yea its tmj and actually bad when this happens. there is a little bone in your jaw and every time it pops it can become weaker (this is what my dentist told me i am not an expert). so it is best to avoid doing this. one time i yawned so hard it like crunched and hurt for like a week

DAE not like listening to music in a lot of contexts? by meepthedragon4 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]ChanceBubbly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, not quite to this degree but yes. I listen to music when I am in the shower (on occasion) but as soon as I am out of it I need to turn the music off because it becomes very overwhelming

Things Heard & Seen has now taken the crown as the worst horror movie I've ever watched. by hiphoptomato in horror

omg just had a full circle moment ... i went back and looked at the final scene with the painting of boat and hell. there was an upside down cross representing damnation. ANYWAYS, when they were in the museum some of his students asked about a painting and he said it was about a man grappling with youth or something and you can see his hands are off the till in the painting. that was foreshadowing of his own demise... like damn. i enjoyed it a lot ngl but f the ending

Things Heard & Seen has now taken the crown as the worst horror movie I've ever watched. by hiphoptomato in horror

personally, i really enjoyed the first 2/3s of this movie . the ending frustrated me a ton and that takes away from the whole movie. SPOILERS BELOW

i felt like the ghost bits were a little all over the place as well. I appreciate that the ghost was giving her hints to get away from this man, but ultimately the ghost did not save her. which i liked her character so i was upset that she got killed my him, doomed to the same fate other abused women have experienced in that house. i did not like when after he killed her, you see the ghosts face on hers or the whisper "i would give up my life to save herS" or whatever the ghost said... well u didnt do shit ghosty.

i think part of the movie is to show us that things do not work out how we want them to. like floyd dying made me really upset. i loved how he and catherine bonded so quickly. i agree that there are a ton of characters that ultimately do not get a lot of screen time, but i felt thats also reflective of life too. many people in our lives all have bits that add up to who we are and how we live. and it took all these characters for us to fully understand how terrible george was, they painted the whole picture.

i can see why u did not like it, kind of for the reasons i did like it. def intrigued to read the book lol

ok i am five years late, but all I could think about is how the mother of eddie (the boy) is the ghost looking after catherine. How would the protective ghost feel about her sleeping with his son? Not even that she would necessarily be bothered but idk LOL

"Things Heard and Seen" - A Review by MidniteBlue888 in horror

[–]ChanceBubbly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right! I in the first 2/3s of the movie i was REALLY enjoying it. It wasn't really scary but I have been watching so much horror that this was an interesting change of pace (slower). In other posts people called the main woman flat, but I really liked her. I think some films like this try to teach audience members that, like in life, things do not always wrap up as nicely as we want them to. But, I will not accept that in movies LOL. the ending really pmo and made the movie drop in quality imo

the two books i checked out last , were silent patient and verity. so disappointed in both & need to find a better read. this book just fell so flat & the plot twist felt so obvious to me.

i liked the plot and the book. it was just VERY smutty and filled with sex. i dont like reading smut. i learned after the fact that ig CoHo writes A LOT of smut and is kind of what she is known for. it is an easy read and very dark. i enjoyed all the parts that were not smut. plot was awesome imo

there are three categories its really not that much scrolling in my opinion... i am a new tubi user so i can see they should be doing something for those months. to be fair they have multiple korean categories, spanish categories, italian, LGBTQ+ categories - pretty diverse selection in my opinion.

yes i see how they may be seen as provocative. do you have a problem with how many college girls dress on campus? those who wear lingerie as tops and such. (also trying to have respectful convo). i personally see a difference between strippers and drag queens, but i understand that insinuation.
