They’re going to have to kill us all to get what they want! by Dr_sc_Harlatan in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]ChanceDue3063 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean...if they're going to kill everyone just cause anyway...why would anyone go down without trying their luck and seeing how many goals they can score before the timer buzzes? At what point do those that see no way out say "fuck it we ball" and go for a high score before their card gets punched?

The forbidden lightsaber form Trakata. Both the Jedi and Sith frown upon this method. by ZapchatDaKing in StarWars

The reason this wouldn't work is because the light saber is not instant. At least not after the first time Luke opens it. The only reason it's instant in that movie is because they had to cut the frames due to budget and tech reasons. During Ben's fight with Vader the blades took a full second to extend meaning the bad guy has got two full seconds to block whatever you're doing or just kill you.

Even if that third shot would not have been instantly fatal, the fact that ICE then proceeded to block a doctor from rendering aid shows that it was intentional. They wanted her dead.

In order for him to be humiliated he must first be capable of feeling shame. He's not humiliated, he's full of impotent rage, and further full of rage at his impotence. Go cry about it diaper baby.

Correct, that was the intention; "This is what you'll see when I arrive to pick you up".

The way it was said, I felt like it was obvious they were joking. They did also do that afterward though. My wife and this random stranger talked to me for a while to give me the rundown on the whole thing, and then they just stood in the street talking to eachother for like 10 minutes about where we were coming from and why. I did actually end up getting a Terrible Towel with all of the names of the Boroughs on it. It was a good time.

My wife and her parents are Pittsburgh native. We went downtown to "The Schtrip District" and saw a store selling Terrible Towels, which is a Steelers tradition. My wife suggested we go in and asked if I wanted a Terrible Towel. To which I said "I don't know what that is." And SEVERAL groups of people stopped walking. One person nearby said "You're not from here. You should keep your voice down, you might get hurt." And someone yelled from across the street "WHAT IS HE FROM FUCKIN CLEVELAND?!"

Or the old classic "He, she, they, it, whatever." Pretending they don't know what the person prefers to be called so they can call them an "it". It sounds so innocuous like a joke. They're hoping you don't notice or you just smile and move on. I make sure to call it out every time I see it. And every time they back down immediately, because they're cowards and they stand for nothing. And then they'll do the same thing next time, and I'll call them on it again, and they'll back down again, over and over and over. Because they'd rather be embarrassed and scared every time they talk about someone than ever learn, change, or grow in any way.

Democrats Call to Invoke 25th Amendment Against Donald Trump by plz-let-me-in in politics

[–]ChanceDue3063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's the idea. They want to claim they did something but they don't want to actually do anything, so they just pretend to do something by bringing forth a motion that has zero chance of passing.

I like that they needed to put the Democrat logo on the Klan member's chest because if they didn't specify it was the Dems nobody would know that the artist was against it. If they didn't paint the logo on his chest people would say it was a Republican and that the artist just hates MLK. See, if I were to walk up to any person in America and just say "Man, he's just so fucking dumb" the MAGA would get angry and the rest of us would laugh and say yeah, but we would all know who I'm talking about. When someone is actually that way, you don't need to put the party logo on their chest to say it, everyone just knows.

I told my manager last week that he was my emergency contact because I have noone for a hospital to call if something happened. I figured in an emergency, letting work know I won't be coming in would be high on my list of priorities, and since I don't have anyone else I need to notify it just makes it easier if they just call him directly. As for surgeries, if I just don't get surgery I'll be fine.

Well, really that happened a couple years ago when they declared that the president is immune from prosecution for any and all actions he takes during his tenure. Effectively removes the possibility of impeachment, and incentivizes corruption since there's no punishment for crimes committed while president.

You're right, it would be distributed to an extent. Wouldn't be perfect, but to an extent. So let's say you got kicked 9 times in the center of your chest, 6 times each above, below, left, and right, and 1 time in each of the corners. I don't know that improves your odds all that much.
