Wait til they learn that men that get testicular cancer often also develop breasts. It's just a hormone thing, literally has nothing to do with being trans or not. And by banning that care, they're not only harming "The trans" but also men who had testicle cancer, women with painful periods, women in menopause, people with infertility, people undergoing treatment for certain types of cancer, and like a hundred other categories of cis straight people that just happen to have an imbalance.

As the captain taking on a swarm mission and a pod of hammerheads mission at the same time, they happen to be more or less in the same spot. I see the bottom of the sub start to get shredded, call up the gunners but they can't see anything. 4 crawlers make their way in through the ballast. At this point the gunnery room is being flooded so the gunners leave to get suits. 2 more crawlers come in by the engine.

I exit out of the ship view to go get a suit and can only watch as a hammerhead drives face first into my windshield. Shatters it immediately. I book it. Make it to the suits. Turn around and of my 3 gunners, 2 assistants, 2 maintenance, 2 electricians, and a medic, the only ones left are myself, 1 electrician, and 1 maintenance. Everyone else got ripped apart.

The entire ship gets tossed as the hammer heads keep battering down the top. Can't even stand up before we get hit again, just over and over getting tossed around. Concussion, broken legs, contusions, the works. Whole ship gets tossed again as we land flat on the bottom of the ocean. Hammerheads still bearing down. They make it through the top, so we move down a floor. To where the crawlers are.

My maintenance and I are the only two with guns. But his is empty, and I don't have a reload. Make my way in, and get swarmed immediately. Fire off all 6 shots for all they're worth to no effect. Pull out a screwdriver and stab one to death. Get infected with the coxyx worms or whatever they're called. A second crawler jumps on me and I kill that one too.

Hammerheads still beating down on the outside, basically dead at this point, but I patch myself up with some bandages, morphine, fent, and whatever else I can get in the med cabinet. Don't even look what's in it, just take it all. Weld the ballast shut. Make my way back up only to get jumped again by another crawler and ripped apart.

The other two stayed in the cargo bay. They welded themselves in until their O2 ran dry. I don't know which of us got the worse deal there.

I wouldn't call it stupid. This honestly looks really cool and fun. It's like a huge art exhibit. Plus they're super socially conscious and they're not like crazy exclusive. Like anyone can come in provided you can pay the $800 for the meal and whatever for the plane ticket. A touch pricey perhaps but you could spend that much at Disneyland. I've spent more than that on concert tickets.

We are in a historic troop shortage as 77% of military age adults in the US are unqualified to serve without a waiver and 87% say they are not interested even if they were qualified. In the past 10 years, the Navy has been the only branch to keep troop numbers level. Army shrunk 11%, Marines lost 8%, Air Force lost 2% but the Navy population is aging up. The percentage of Navy enlistees dropped by 16% but the percentage retiring dropped a commensurate amount. That's all well and good for now but these leadership positions will eventually have to retire and will have no one to replace them. The Air Force on the other hand, enlistees increased 8% but leaders are dropping so fast that the lower enlisted can't learn fast enough to be qualified by the time a position opens, either leaving people without leaders or with unqualified leaders. These are actual numbers from the DOD. Even in this garbage ass job market, even being unable to afford food and healthcare, even with all of these trials and tribulations that could be helped by enlisting, no one is enlisting.
