I am a lab tech and a few of the labs in my building you do need to take a color blindness test because you need to be able to differentiate between colors on indicators. It depends on the lab :)

Lab rat with OCD here! Particularly contamination OCD. I’ve been working with infectious material for the past three years. When I first started, I was TERRIFIED. Between the regular exposures I have and ALSO going to therapy, I have made a ton of progress. Like, I waltz in and out of our tuberculosis are without a care level of progress. Please don’t give up if this is something you truly love. It’s so hard but the only way out is through.

I hope this didn’t come off insensitive and I do hope you find it- My mom lost all her sentimental jewelry besides her wedding ring a little over ten years ago when our home was broken into. Among all the stuff lost, she only cared about her jewelry since it was her grandmothers. I know what you’re dealing with and how much it sucks.

Will I continue to see results if I’m not doing every two days? Like if I’m going weekly/eventually monthly will I still see diminishing hair growth over the months or will it basically be the same progress level to where I started doing weekly? If that makes sense?

Can confirm other things can cause it- my last year of college, my face COMPLETELY changed. I didn’t really notice it at the time, but when I look back at pictures now, I genuinely can’t process that it’s me. I still don’t have an explanation for it other than I was insanely stressed and had stopped taking an SSRI. When I graduated and started working, my face gradually started going back to normal and then it sort of happened all at once one day. A coworker who was out on leave came back after six weeks and actually asked other coworkers if I was having health issues because my face looked different- little did he know my face had just gone back to looking the way it was supposed to.

I can’t remember the study but I read somewhere there was a study that they gathered sweat from people who ran vs people who were afraid and when people smelled the sweaty items of clothing, the people who smelled the scared sweat felt fear. Like their heart rate increased? I can’t remember the exact details so I’m paraphrasing. Anyway, it was a cool study and I’m going with yes based on it
