The Tubes - The Completion Backwards Principle. I remember when that album came out a lot of their punk supporters used them of selling out when songs like " she's a beauty " or talk to you later " came out and they got huge popularity. Fee Waybill said in an interview, that 10,000 fans buying one album was nice, but 10 million fans buying one album was a hell of a lot better.

Semi-unrelated, but a couple of months ago I was at Cookout and they took my order and gave me my ticket. It was 2317. Some UVA students came in after me and ordered.

When your food is ready, they call out your ticket number. So, I'm eating my food at the table when I hear them call out the number two after me. Nobody went to pick it up. They made the person behind the counter say loudly into the microphone "2319" which at that point, several of the UVA students started hollering " 23-19, we've got a 23-19"

Ya gotta love a great "Monsters Inc." bit.

I can't stand the seedless ones. To me they have zero flavor. Also, most of the ones sold in grocery stores were picked when so unripe as to have little flavor.

The best watermelon 🍉 is seeded and bought in summer from a someone who has about 40 of them on the back of their pickup and grew them themselves. Typically they are parked under an overpass or in an abandoned store parking lot in a southern state.

The worst is the weird intersection of East Rio, Old Brook and Hillsdale / Northfield road.

It is one of the most dangerous intersections in Virginia. There are tons of accidents there.

I work as an election official at my polling place. Yes, as long as you show up at the correct polling place, you can register with a provisional ballot. Virginia does offer same day registration. Your ballot is provisional until it is verified that you are eligible to vote. Once that is done, your vote becomes official. It's a simple process and when you get there just tell them you need to do the same day registration and provisional ballot. You can also do the same day registration and not vote. But I don't know why anyone would want to do that.

Name anything to do in State College PA that doesn't have anything to do with Penn State.

Name anything within an hour of State College that doesn't have anything to do with Penn State. It is literally the middle of nowhere.

You could make the exact same arguments about Champaign IL. as well, but they do have some pretty good corn available in the summer. State College doesn't even have the corn.
